Making Your Reservation

A: If you are submitting a booking request within 30 days of your vacation, the full reservation amount is due at the time of booking in order to secure your rental dates. If you are booking ahead of time, 40% of the reservation is due at the time of booking, 30% is due 60 days before your arrival date, and the remaining 30% is due 30 days before your arrival date. We will send you reminders about payment due dates.

A: Yes! Many travelers aren’t aware that most online travel websites (such as
Airbnb and VRBO) charge a significant service fee on top of the reservation total when booking on their website. Reserving your vacation rental directly with us will save you a considerable amount of money, not to mention time.

Our Reservationists are here to help during the booking process and throughout your stay, plus our easy-to-use website features over 100 of the top Beach House Vacation Rentals in our area!

Check out all of the benefits of booking direct here.

Amenities

A: Yes! All of our vacation rentals have high-speed WiFi that can support multiple devices at one time, as well as online streaming. All of our vacation rentals also have Roku TV with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service accounts such as Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney +.

A: Yes, all of our properties have a charcoal grill for our guests to use. We provide all of the grilling tools, but guests will need to bring their own charcoal and lighter fluid.

A: Yes. All of our properties have a traditional drip coffee maker, as well as coffee filters. We also provide house ground coffee, but feel free to bring your own favorite blend!

A: Nearly all of our properties are pet friendly! Check the Pet Policy section of the property page to verify the number of pets allowed inside each home. BeachBox does charge a separate pet fee that will be added at checkout. We ask that all pets stay off the furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren’t left alone inside the home unless in a kennel. Sorry, we don’t allow cats.

A: Many of our beach vacation properties are located in neighborhoods that have strict HOA policies that don’t allow oversized vehicles. Contact us as there are some exceptions

A: We do not provide any baby equipment. We have partnered with BabyQuip, a
baby equipment rental company if you are unable to bring your child’s items from home

A: No, beach equipment is not included with your BeachBox home. Check out Rent BeachBox for all of your beach rental equipment needs! The delivery service offers exclusive deals for BeachBox guests at a fraction of the cost.

A: Unfortunately mosquitoes are simply part of the gulf coast living. The county maintains a regular spraying schedule, but we always recommend bringing bug spray with DEET to ensure your comfort while outdoors. There have also been rattlesnake sightings in the dunes by the beach. Please use caution when using dune walkovers or walking in the grass near the beach. Always keep an eye on your children and pets.

General

A: There are multiple golf cart rental companies in Galveston and Surfside that will deliver your golf cart directly to your BeachBox rental. Ask us for more details!

A: The community pools on Galveston Island are generally open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, each year.

The Jamaica Beach community pool is open to the general public and is $5 per
person per day.

The Sea Isle community pool is open to Sea Isle guests only. Pool passes are
available for purchase for $100, which covers up to 10 guests for 7 days.

The Terramar Beach community pool is open to Terramar Beach guests only with our provided pool key.

A: We do not recommend leaving any personal property on the beach overnight or unattended during the day for any long period of time. Beach Patrol may remove them or they may be stolen while you are away from your spot at the beach.

A: In town there are larger grocery stores with more selection. We recommend you get the bulk of your groceries at one of the larger stores (Randalls, Kroger or Walmart) before you get to your BeachBox vacation rental property. There are also several small grocery and convenience stores on the West End, including Seven Seas Grocery in Jamaica Beach and Hummel’s in Pirates Beach. There are also several grocery delivery services available on the Island to have your groceries delivered to your BeachBox vacation rental. Contact us for our recommendations!
