8/27/20 UPDATE

Hurricane Laura made landfall around midnight on Thursday, and we’re lucky that minimal damage has been reported.

Evacuations from Hurricane Laura Lifted

Evacuations have been lifted and our towns are returning to business as usual. Our BeachBox teams are making the rounds to our homes to remove Hurricane precautions such as window protectors. We look forward to your next stay at our properties, and thank all those who sent well wishes.

Hurricane Laura is a Category 4 storm making its way towards Texas. Experts expect Laura to make landfall the evening of Wednesday, August 26th. The safety of our guests is our top priority. Please read about the mandatory and voluntary evacuations below.

Galveston, Texas

A mandatory evacuation for Galveston, Texas was announced on August 25th. Evacuation routes and information can be found on the governments website.

Kemah, Texas

A mandatory evacuation for Kemah, Texas was announced on August 25th.

Surfside Beach, Texas

A voluntary evacuation notice has been issued for Surfside Beach, Texas. Beaches are currently closed due to dangerous tides. Please read about hurricane preparedness on the city’s website.
