The house is in a great location. The inside is nice and comfortable. The community is quite.
This was our first house rental experience and we were not disappointed. I read dozens of reviews on a variety of homes and chose this place after a lot of consideration. The location is great for a variety of things to do. We came from Oklahoma with our 5 adult children and a couple of their significant others/spouses, and whether they were the hang-out-at-home type or constantly on-the-go, everyone enjoyed their stay. We love to cook, and Harrison's place was very accommodating. Big family breakfasts and grilled shark the guys caught on their fishing excursion were the best! We also ate out a few times and found awesome restaurants. Even though we went at the hottest time of the year, the ocean breeze and the view from the upstairs balcony made for great porch sitting, especially in the evenings. This was also our first trip as a family with all adults, and we made some wonderful memories sitting around the big dining table eating or playing cards late at night. Close beach access and multiple attractions within 20 minutes made it even better. There was enough parking for at least 5 cars and our wave runner. We stayed for 5 nights. We took our own laundry detergent, dryer sheets (WONDERFUL full size washer and dryer) and dishwasher pods, but there was already some in the house. Walmart Supercenter is about 15 minutes away (and conveniently on the way to the house) so we stopped as we were driving in and bought most of the food we thought we would need for breakfasts and snacks. Much easier than trying to pack and bring it all with us! Overall, we had a wonderful experience in a super-clean, updated, nicely decorated house that made our family trip all that much better.
Entire family enjoyed the stay!! House was very well furnished and decorated, very clean and we really enjoyed the patio view.
Get place to Harrison got things done that we ask for in a timely manor.. Thank you
Great location. I recommend driving to the beach access as it's dangerous to cross the street especially at night when it gets really dark.
Great spot and steps from the beach!
The home is great and accommodated our group of 14 very well. The decor is awesome and welcoming.
Was a great location and views of the beach right off the back patio. When I’m going n Galveston I will look for them first.
This was our first family trip in years, and I wanted to make sure we chose the perfect location. Luckily, this place was just that! We had 6 adults and 5 children (ages 5-12) and the house still felt huge! We all really enjoyed the house decor, overall cleanliness, and kitchen amenities provided. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a quick stay and by the end we did not want to leave. The beds were so comfortable, and the outside deck had cozy sitting areas to relax in the evenings. The living room couch was also very comfy, and the kids really enjoyed the game room downstairs. We decided to make the 2-minute drive to the beach since we had a lot of things to carry, but it is definitely a short walk! Overall, we were more than satisfied with this location and we will definitely stay again in the future! A huge thank you to the hosts for being very attentive and responsive. 10/10 Recommendation.
The decor was very nice, and I loved the kitchen.
