But let’s be honest, if you’re coming down to Galveston, you’re wanting to go to the beach at one point or another, so why not find a place that you can walk from your back door to the beach in seconds? Thankfully, we have plenty of beachfront homes for rent available, but here are some of our personal favorite beachfront rental properties!
The Estate
The Estate, located right on Jamaica Beach, is a sprawling beachfront mansion boasting 6 bedrooms and 4 and a half bathrooms. With top of the line amenities, and it’s own private deck and beach walkover, you can truly experience the high life!
The Navigator
The Navigator, located directly across from Terramar Beach, has amazing ocean views to spare! With 5 bedrooms and 4 and a half bathrooms, this home offers plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the views. Our favorite spot is the back deck, where you can relax and enjoy the feeling of the ocean breeze while taking it all in. If you’re wanting something a little further from the crowds, this is the home for you!
Sea La Vie
Sea La Vie, located in the private Grand Beach neighborhood directly across from Stewart Beach, is a massive 4 story beach palace. With 5 bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms, this home is the perfect place for everyone to have their own hang out space. Got some younger kids in your group? Let them hang out on the top floor where they can watch the sunset over the ocean from the comfort of their beds. The community also offers their own private community beach access point, so you’ll never have trouble finding a spot to sit down in the sand!
Seaside Serenity
Seaside Serenity, located just past Jamaica Beach, has a little bit of everything. This home is just far enough away from the main crowds that you can truly find some quiet, but also close enough to a lot of local hotspots that if you wanted to you could easily step out for the evening and enjoy a nice dinner. Not to mention this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home has its own private beach walkover and a newly installed soaker pool! Love the sounds and feeling of the sea breeze, but not a big fan of the sand? Take a dip in the private soaker pool and live the best of both worlds!
Westwind
Westwind, located in the sleepy Indian Beach community is truly something you need to see to believe. This massive 8 bedroom, 4 bathroom home boasts one of the best outdoor deck views in Galveston. The second floor of this home is covered in large windows facing the ocean, so you can always be looking out at the beach! But step outside and take a seat in the deck chairs to really take everything in, letting all your troubles blow away in the sea breeze. The community also has a private walkover to the beach, but for those who don’t want to walk too far, you can step from the back door to a small trail through some trees and be on the beach in 10 seconds! But we also understand that not everyone likes how hot it can get outside, especially during the Summer months. Lucky for you, the master bedroom has the best view in the house! Wake up every morning to the sight of the surf and sand and enjoy the good life!
Buccaneer Manor
Buccaneer Manor, located in the Pirates Beach community offers the closest possible trip to the beach we have ever seen. Walk out the front door, take 10 steps and boom! You’re on the beach! This 6 bedroom, 3 and a half bathroom home is the perfect place for families with smaller children. Forgot the beach toys? Need a quick drink of water after taking a dip in the ocean? No problem! In less than a minute you can return home and get what you need without interrupting the daytime festivities! One of our favorite things to do here is sit out on either the deck or the swinging bench and watch the sunset. You will not find a better view anywhere in Galveston.
