The home was spacious, spotless, and perfectly set up to host a large group. Every room was comfortable, thoughtfully arranged, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen and common areas were perfect for cooking, gathering, and spending quality time together. We especially appreciated how smoothly everything ran—from check-in to communication with the host. We weren’t fully prepared for the main level of the house being on the 3rd floor (I probably just didn’t read details). Don’t book the home if stairs will present an accessibility issue for any of your guests. Would stay again.”

“The location is fabulous - a short drive (less than 10 minutes) to Galveston attractions - and just a two minute walk to beach. The beach is lovely - not too many people and no vehicles allowed. People are very friendly. The house has plenty of room for four couples and 8 young adults. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is very quiet. There were a few items that needed to be addressed during the stay and response time was very fast. I made a few recommendations and the host was very welcoming. Note to guests: bring your own body wash, shampoo, dish soap and paper towel.”

“The arrival and check in process was seamless. It’s in a great location when it comes to being near the beach and great food options. The house was just as described. Everything we needed was available. It was a great location to stay before boarding the cruise ship. 20 min drive to the port. We would stay here again. ”

“Stayed with 10 adults and 1 child. Location was great quick easy walk to the beach. You cannot drive on this part of the beach so be aware. But it is a quick walk. Just a couple minor repairs would be nice , door handles on inside doors, dining room tables were nice. Lots of room! Would recommend replacing the chairs that are cushioned on the main dining table. Rug in the main living area needs to be replaced. Corners turn up and caused a couple stumbles. Chairs felt like you might fall through them. Lots of stairs so. Be prepared. The kitchen is above the majority of bedrooms. AC was great. Lots of kitchen utensils and cookware! Loved having the outdoor shower! Fire pit was also a plus. We brought cutter yard spray to use around the fire pit and never felt a mosquito! Loft is not for the faint at heart.. stair/ ladder not for us old folks.. Smart tvs in the bedrooms would be nice ( even if small ones) kids wanted their own shows as they got ready for bed. Only real drawback was the trash had not been picked up upon arrival and smelled terrible! We took it out to the road because it was right by the stairs! Host tried to get it picked up but was still there when we left. Overall great stay! Lots of room just too many stairs for us! ( stairs could use a safety gate of some kind or supply one for those with toddlers) the stairs were to wide for a normal baby gate. ”

“We enjoyed our stay! This home is clean, came with enough kitchen equipments - pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. Bathrooms came with enough towels, plus shampoo and lotion were provided. Home is very cozy, patio is clean, and location is so close to the beach - very walkable, about 2 minutes. Owner checked in to make sure everything was okay and sent reminders prior to check out. Owner was very accommodating, we decided to bring our senior dog last minute and fid not have a problem with it. Overall, my family had a relaxing time. Thank you for having us!”

“Our stay here was wonderful. We were fortunate enough to catch this home at a better price. Sadly I don't think this will happen again. The house had such nice views and was nicely stocked. It was very clean. I walk barefoot alot and this is the first home I've been in that my feet were not black from the floors not being mopped and no sand on the floors either. I normally have to sweep and mop but this time I didn't. So we did have an issue at the home. There was a tarp on the side of the home where the master bedroom was. It was not secured so the first two nights were terrible I did not sleep but maybe 3 hours but I contacted the company and they were so fast honestly getting out to the home to have it secured the following day. I was ready to fist fight because I was so tired. But I couldn't be too mad (I mean i could) because like I said they were very responsive and took care of it at least. We would love to stay here again if the price is right again.”

“We booked this home for a family reunion. It has been 20 years since the last reunion and we were really looking forward to seeing each other and spending time together. This property is well located for beach access and is well appointed. The only issue is the number of stairs to climb to get into the house and the kitchen being on the top floor. Otherwise it was a great house for our reunion. ”

“We booked this location sub-$100's for two nights, and honestly it was a solid bang for your buck. Location was great, plenty of rooms and definitely nice if you want to get to 8mile. Pros: clean kitchen, sleep space galore, double balcony, outside shower, plenty of things to use for cooking/eating. Maintenance guy who cut a new key for us was very personable and chill. Host was very responsive. Cons: the flys (just about everywhere outside in the ground making there way inside. Property is definitely worn and needs some TLC, had some prior damage which led me to think it's why we got it under $100 a night. Moldy washing machine, garbage disposable didn't work, fridge damaged and freezer frozen over. To sum it up, for under 100? Book it, it's solid for what you get, paying more than like 125? Be on the fence about it. These units are currently getting renovated so time will tell. 4/5 overall experience.”

“This was the perfect house for us. Despite being on the 2nd row we could see and hear the ocean from the front porch and from all of the rooms in the front of the house. The beach was also very nice as there were no cars on the beach. Finally, the owner was very friendly and communicated with me quickly whenever I had a question. He was a pleasure to work with. “We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the beach over the Easter weekend. The place was clean and host was very responsive throughout the stay just to check in and make sure all was well. You are steps from the beach with the waves crashing in the morning and seagulls in full effect is something out of a movie while the sunrise alone was breathtaking. You will not be disappointed”
