Director of Guest Services

As the Director of Guest Services, Eric gets to collaborate, manage and remedy guest concerns. He has been at BeachBox since November 2021 and loves what he does. His advice to make your stay great is to double check to make sure to pack up all of your belongings. You’d be surprised at the amount of stuff people leave behind!

Director of Operations

Since January of 2021, Katie has helped create great guest experiences while sharing her love for the island. As the Director of Operations, Katie gets to have a high impact in so many areas of the business, but her favorite may be connecting with guests and giving them some great advice, like— “Don’t just plan your time in Galveston at the beach. Yes, we have 32 miles of open beaches for your enjoyment, but the island has so much more to offer! There is a rich history with several museums and amazing historic architecture, a thriving art scene and downtown shopping area, plus some of the best restaurants you can find in Texas.”

Homeowner Relationship Manager

Bennett went to the University of Houston with a degree in Entrepreneurship, Real Estate Finance, and Global energy management and has worked with his own Airbnb portfolio since 2022. Bennett Mainini helps oversee new homeowners and ensures their success in the vacation rental industry.

Housekeeping Manager

Since 2017, Blanca has poured her heart into her job as the Housekeeping Manager. She loves to give people opportunities to work and takes pride in each vacation home her team cleans. She prioritizes cleanliness and simply wants guests to focus on having fun. 

Rent BeachBox Manager

Chance is taking BeachBox to new places with Rent BeachBox, a guest-focused beach equipment rental wing of BeachBox. He has been with the company since March of 2021 and loves his job because of the people and the opportunities. An avid fisherman and water sports fan, Chance knows some of the best fishing spots and swears that Mud Island near San Luis Pass hold the biggest fish. 

Director of Real Estate and Special Projects

Since 2018, Cody has been an integral BeachBox team member, transitioning from a dedicated real estate agent to Director of Real Estate and Special Projects. He expertly handles property acquisitions, taxes, insurance, and utilities, ensuring BeachBox properties are always in top condition. Cody also fosters strong relationships with local officials, ensuring seamless collaboration between the company and the communities it serves.

As a child, Cody lived in a Surfside home that is now a BeachBox property! This fun coincidence has only deepened his passion for helping the company thrive. Cody's advice for guests? “Truly unplug and enjoy vacation."

Maintenance Supervisor

Randon is the Maintenance Supervisor at BeachBox. He enjoys the variety in his job and knows how important his role is for our guests. He stays busy making sure each of our homes are vacation-ready, especially during the hot Texas summers since his expertise is HVAC.

Special Projects & Make Ready Team Supervisor

Candice has been at BeachBox since February of 2020. She focuses on accommodating our guests by preparing the home before any guests set foot inside with everything from décor to sheets and even toasters. She knows where to shop and often suggests guests check out the hidden gems along the Galveston Strand on their visit. 

Guest Services Representative

Living on the island has given Ian a unique advantage in helping guests. He knows the best attractions, restaurants, and beaches. He loves helping people have the best trip possible and is always willing to share his insight.  He would encourage guests to make the most of their vacation time—and even ask about extending your stay at a discounted rate. 

Operations Coordinator

As an Operations Coordinator, Hope makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She works closely with our Housekeepers and Inspectors to ensure the home is check-in ready. Her favorite lunch spot in Galveston is Viet Cajun, and she always recommends to insure your trip because life can be unpredictable. 

In a perfect world, things would never break or succumb to the salty ocean air. However, that’s not the case and that’s why we need an incredible maintenance staff. These guys work hard to fix or prevent issues long before you step foot in the home. And in the event you need something during your stay—it’s likely that you’ll see one of these smiling faces.

The folks on our housekeeping team work tirelessly to ensure each of our vacation homes meets our high cleanliness standard. They love making sure each house is ready for our guests. Their hard work is evident in each folded towel, swept floor, and washed dish.
