“Beautiful home in a great location with a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The host was very friendly, responsive, and quick to answer any questions or concerns we had throughout our stay. The house rules were also clearly explained, which made everything easy. The only challenge we experienced was the parking situation. The home accommodates a maximum of 6 cars, and because the neighborhood is somewhat private, there isn’t much flexibility for additional parking, which was a little difficult for our group. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience. Our friends were able to enjoy fishing on the pier, and we made some really sweet memories together in such a spacious and beautiful home. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.”

“We stayed from Monday-Friday and we had an absolute blast! My husband was recovering from a major surgery and it was the perfect place to rest and relax for a bit. The only thing that was not perfect was a dog smell when you walk in. That’s expected when pets are allowed tho, so no biggie. We will definitely be booking with Beach Box again for sure! The host was so nice and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. The sunsets at this home are stunning! 🤩 totally worth it!”

“Very beautiful property! Luxury living feel provided super comfort with lots of amenities and plenty of space during our stay. Really enjoyed the balconies for lounging with an awesome bay view! Found it to be more than enough room for us and our visiting day guests.Property was very nice and quiet. Loved the location being away from the hustle of the main roadway, but still close enough to Galveston and Freeport to enjoy both areas. Also found several convenience stores and restaurants within close proximity which made it very convenient.Host was very responsive and checked on us throughout. Highly recommend this property! Will be staying here again!”

“Great for family reunions. We thought there were 3 complete bathrooms there is only 2 and a 1/2 bathroom. Great view. Driveway made a great pickleball court. Close to beaches. Great kitchen and beautiful master bathroom. No games in game room. Sleeps 16 nicely.”

“What a great house - lots of space and 2 great decks. And, real grass to walk our dogs on which is always a plus. The location in the bay was quiet and your neighbors are not right on top of you. It was easy to get back to the Galveston activities too. We all enjoyed walking on the walkway and watching the birds. We would definitely go back for a relaxing visit.”

“The house was nice. It was clean. Kitchen was stocked as described. This house only has 2.5 bathrooms. 1.5 bathrooms downstairs and 1 bathroom upstairs. The description is wrong. I wouldn't have booked this house without another bathroom but it worked out because part of my group couldn't come. House is next to a peaceful boardwalk by the beautiful bay. We enjoyed watching the birds and fishing from the deck.”

“There was something wrong with our initial booking, so host offered a different place which was totally fine! We spent a weekend at this place for my father’s 60th. My parents loved this place because they could fishing/crabbing on the dock. The place we nice and clean, however due to the high mosquitoes.. we wish there were nets on the windows since we love to enjoy the breeze through the house. Each room had a bathroom which worked out great!”

“We really enjoyed the location. Beautiful views and listening to birds on the bay side. It was great sitting out on the balcony. The house has two living areas which was great. Carpets upstairs were very stained…..regardless …I would come back again. Nearby is Lafitte’s Cove nature preserve. I recommend taking a walk there. We also rode the ferry across and back. You can park and walk on just to ride and see dolphins.”

“This beach house was in a great location and very peaceful! We enjoyed our stay and the layout of the home very much! My only complaint was there were several things in the home that need to be updated. The carpet was very stained up stairs. I was not comfortable walking around barefoot. The couch upstairs was damaged and needs to be replaced. It was being supported by 2x4s and dangerous for my young kids. The kitchen sink faucet was very loose. Not major things but for the price point I was expecting things to feel nicer. The owner was very communicative and left easy instructions for check in and out.”
