“We enjoyed our stay. The loft is very cozy. Loved the look of the old doors and windows. Windows are pretty thin however so when motorcycles, cars, or trash trucks come by in the morning it can be pretty noisy. Would stay here again though. Cool to be walking distance to the Strand.”

“We had a great stay in Galveston! The apartment was exactly as advertised, with a spacious living room and bedroom that made it a comfortable place to relax. The location was one of the highlights. It was closed enough to The Strand that we could walk to restaurants, shops, etc. in under 15min, while still being tucked away from crowds or noise. Perfect balance between convenience and peaceful atmosphere. A few things to keep in mind: parking is street parking only, and nearby spaces are limited to two hour parking from 9am to 6pm, so be prepared to move your car. That said, we didn’t have much trouble finding parking. Also the unit is on the third floor, and the elevator is clearly out of service, so be prepared to use the stairs. Overall, a great spot for a quick getaway from Houston, will happily stay here again!”

“My mom and I stayed here for a Mother's Day/Birthday trip and really enjoyed this space. The condo is clean and is just as the photos show. The location is ideal - very close to the strand - although parking can be quite difficult in this area. We had a small issue with the A/C and BeachBox responded immediately and they were able to take care of it while we were out shopping (with our permission to enter, of course). We will definitely stay here again because we were so comfortable.”

The location was close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away that it wasn’t loud from the bands & DJ’s playing, and the loud people at Mardi Gras. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Galveston that wants to be close to The Strand/Downtown District. Hosts are very responsive and the room was perfect for us two!”

The street is quite busy at night and can seem a bit unsafe. The building itself was very noisy. The bed is too soft, you’ll wake up sore. The building itself is very outdated, reminiscent of the 1930’s. But overall a good value.”

“This was the perfect place for our overnight stay in Galveston! We wanted to stay near the Strand area so we wouldn’t have to drive anywhere. We were able to walk to delicious restaurants and shop at cute stores in the area. The loft was clean, looked exactly like the photos, and was great for my husband and I to stay in. “It’s our second time staying in the League lofts. We like the location due to its proximity to the church (across the street) and so close to great shops and restaurants on the Strand. Just be prepared to use the stairs. We did not mind it as it gave us extra steps for the day. The unit was clean and had the necessary things we needed for our weekend stay. “Everything was wonderful! The house was very clean and check in process was very smooth. It’s a very safe location, the entry door locks from the outside after you’re inside and you can only get in with a code! The only small complain I have was the construction noise a few buildings down the place which can be heard in the morning but other than that it was a beautiful stay!!”
