“We had a great stay. The house was clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. There are restaurants and shopping minutes away. The patio was great to relax on. There are a couple steps that you have to be careful with. We just put a bar stool there to remind us. There are no tvs in the bedrooms but other than that it was fantastic.”

“Such a cute house!! The area was quiet and peaceful, didn't hear any of the neighbors. The house itself surprised us. We knew it was going to be cozy and cute but when we arrived, it was above our expectations. Very nice kitchen, bedrooms were very cleans and smelled nice, the bathrooms were spacious and clean!! Definitely recommend this house, especially if you are traveling with friends!!”

“The inside of the StayBeachBox house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with mixing bowls, serving dishes and small appliances. It was clean of any clutter, very simple but felt so cozy on the inside. Unfortunately, the outside of the house had not been maintained in what looks like 2 blooming seasons. I don't think the company front- StayBeachBox realized how extremely off image it was. I sent shots showing the differences. Hopefully they update the listing to show it's now overgrown stage. Or a landscaping company is called to get it back to it's listed potential. To say our kids were less than impressed with the outside (which hurt my mama heart because we do one trip in summer) is an understatement. I didn't want to even address it with my husband because I picked the house. Then my 10 year old son said it looked nothing like it's listing & that sent me into sending the message.”

The only downside was be careful where you are walking, each of my family members and I did fall due to not clear markings of levels/steps in the home. The floors all blend in together. “This home is as advertised and matched the description. It was clean and ready on arrival. The host is very responsive. The kitchen’s sufficiently stocked and clean. The rooms were as advertised and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable, and in a beautiful location. For our needs and purpose for travel, it was great. Things that would have made it better - the temperature was difficult to control upstairs. One room didn’t cool, and the other room was too cold. There are no blankets ??, and when requested we’re told they don’t have any. The stair hand rail ends before the staircase, and there is not good lighting/contrast to highlight that. We had two people fall and many near misses. So, if mobility or balance issues are a problem, might want to rethink this location. The soap bars are teeny - a challenge for 6. We requested more, but didn’t receive them. Water drainage on the property is a problem. If there is a deluge, prepare to walk in puddles.”

“Home offers plenty of space for 6 guests, and the area is wonderful! Close in proximity to the local harbor, we found ourselves enjoying the local dining scene close to the water. Property is modern & well thought out for guests, rooms offer plenty of comfortable beds and location is close to NASA, fun bars/hangouts as well as HOU Hobby Airport. Owner was communicative & directions/access was super convenient. A definite bookmark for our next visit to the Lone Star State!!”

“Every room was clean. My guest said they felt like they were on a beach in Miami from the feel of the house! I called about a very small issue I notified the host and had an immediate response apologizing for inconvenience (which it was not). There are tiny steps or ledges (if you will) on the floor in a few places in the house and if you are unaware or forget they are there you probably will trip or have a little misstep. Okay, that's it, that's all! We really enjoyed the house, the neighborhood and the walkability (there are a few bar/restaurants right at the corner of the street) The ladies loved the mirror at the bar area, and the guys loved the video games whilst everyone loved the outdoor area. This is a house that everyone said they'd love to return to again and spend even more time. I even had a friend that said she wanted to live there. The pictures depict the house very well and as is. ”

Our kids had the best time making s’mores around the fire pit and playing the arcade games inside—such a fun and memorable experience for them! I booked this place for a little holiday get together for 10 and we all had a great time utilizing the pack patio/outdoor area as well as the bar set up; SUPER cute!!. Downstairs area is spacious but cozy. Neighborhood is GREAT, I do live nearby so I’m already familiar with the area and I can confirm it’s a very safe an welcoming neighborhood, while also being located directly on the marina, and conveniently near amazing locally owned restaurants and cafes, a Walmart and target not even 5 minutes away as well.”
