“We booked this property (both front house & back house) to host a Living Celebration of Life for my momma who was diagnosed with stage 4b terminal cervical cancer. The host/property owner was quick to address any issues we had, which honestly just making them aware of damages we had noticed upon arrival to protect myself from getting any damages charges/fees). The two houses combined was more than plenty enough room for my large group of people. I think all in all we had 27-28. Equal number of kids & adults. The issues we had were very minor. There was not enough dishware/silverware at either house to accommodate each houses total guests like it had claimed in the listing. Other than that I have no real complaints and would definitely book this locations again in the future. Great location, quiet neighborhood and basically central to everything Galveston. The front house sways very noticeably lol, something none of us were prepared for but should have known given the house is on stilts and the first 3 days of our stay was high winds and tons of rain. ”

“I was very impressed with the communication between the owners and us. They responded back to me quickly and solved our issues. Only small things. We really enjoyed all being there together. ”

“We came as a church youth group so perfect to put boys in one and girls in the other. It’s clean and has a great set up. There is not enough dishes for number that can sleep there but we decided to use paper goods. Bunkbed in front house was wobbly but the girls were careful with it and it worked. Overall great place and everyone enjoyed!”

“Note that this is two SEPARATE houses. For some reason, I thought they were connected. We ended up just using the larger house, so we could all be together. We were happy with it. This is a good property for a get-together of multiple parties. There were games, couches, and beds a-plenty. The place was clean and in good condition. The mattresses on the bunk beds were very comfortable. The full sized mattresses upstairs, far less so. Excellent proximity to the cruise line, and lots of other things on the island. The immediate neighborhood was just OK. Overall, recommended, especially for a large party.”

“The beds were very spacious and we had plenty of space for group just under 20 people with our college ministry retreat. Much more parking than other rentals in the area which is great for large groups. There were a few things broken/not working like the toilet and sink drain but we made it work. You’ll want to make sure to pack hand soaps and towels to wash your body with as only big towels were supplied.”

“We had a few hiccups during check with the wrong code being given to us by the host a couple of times. We ended up calling the customer service to get in and finally got in after 30 minutes or so of being outside in scorching heat. There’s barely any space for parking in the driveway with it being a narrow alleyway at the back house and the only access to the garage is to open it manually once you get inside. The covered parking area is accessible from the front house which is where we ended up parking all 6 of our cars. The houses were both clean and well maintained. However, one of the bunk beds was shaky and not usable. Some people from our party ended up sleeping on the floor. We complained of this, but were simply told that they look at everything in the house before giving it to a guest. It seemed like they were insinuating we broke it, which was disappointing. Lastly, we were charged $300 in cleaning fees but still had to wash dishes, empty dishwasher, and take out trash.”
