“My husband and I stayed one night prior to leaving for our cruise. The apartment was very clean and would be perfect for a longer stay. The location was great and within walking distance to the Strand, shopping and restaurants. Beach was only a 5 minute drive. One thing to consider is if you have heavy luggage or can’t lift things our apartment was on the second floor and there is not an elevator. The listing advises that as well. There were bikes that could be borrowed in the lobby area. Management was very attentive and quick to respond to any messages. Would definitely recommend if you are heading to Galveston. ”

“Great classic Galveston building with roomy, clean, comfy apartment. Light and bright! Easy walk to Strand and Mod Coffeeshop. No problem finding free street parking all weekend. One note about apartment 204- the views are of boarded up buildings from the living room and the bedroom faces the wall of the next building. We didn’t mind the industrial vibe but if you want quaint views chose a different apartment.”

“My wife and I stayed here for the first two days of our honeymoon. It was really nice to relax and decompress before we go on our ship. You do have to pay for parking but it’s cheap and right across the street. You’re near the Stran and plenty of shopping, but just far enough away to not have the noise. The place was really clean. You do a combination washer/dryer. And a nice kitchen to cook whatever you need to cook. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.”

“I'm not a fan of the lockbox style they use to open up to get the key- but that was the the only hiccup We will definitely stay again. Word of advice- plan to park a block or two away if you don't want to pay for parking 9a-6p and then the 2 hr limit on Church Street itself”

“No elevator in the building, older building with creaky floors and can hear foot/traffic from outside. I went during low season so it wasn’t busy. Overall had a good stay and would stay here again, it’s close to restaurants and coffee shops. Walkable to a lot of destinations.”

“This loft is in a great location, conveniently located and walking distance to several popular restaurants and shops. The loft has been updated with a large functional kitchen, washer/ dryer and furnished well. Door code required to enter the building! Definitely will stay here again!”

“This place was very conveniently located. Anything you want to do on the strand is pretty much walkable. The host was very responsive and the apartment was very clean. The parking situation can be a bit of a hassle but luckily for me I was gone most of the day and did not have to worry about it. Free parking on the street from 6pm - 9am. You can park for free on Church Street all day but it’s only for 2 hours. I don’t know how much this is regulated but I moved my car when necessary to avoid a ticket. You could hear every step taken on the 3rd floor above you but it didn’t bother me. If you plan on being in bed early I would suggest brining ear plugs. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. It was the right spot for me. Would stay here again.”
