“This place was definitely the perfect fit for our group of 7. Being able to grill and use the pool made for a perfect bbq dinner. While the home was large and decently stocked, we did run into some small issues. Navigating the backyard parking was tricky when the neighboring property was also occupied and left less room to navigate in/out. The property seemed clean overall, but walking barefoot or in white socks resulted in noticeably dirty feet.”

We had no complaints about the property and would book again. It was a little noisy at night with sirens and cars but that’s uncontrollable! We loved it!”

“My family spent the 4th of July at this beautiful home in the heart of Galveston. I am not familiar with Galveston so wasn’t aware that it is located on a main thoroughfare. But it was still relatively quiet and close to everything we needed. The property management was great to work with and answered all of my questions. I definitely recommend this home!”

Traffic is a bit noisy on the Main Street and a couple of lights were out in rooms but nothing I thought that deserved a bad rating. Really easy communication and only 4 miles from Stewart beach. “Great place for a large group! We had 14 people with us and we were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, I’d just suggest bringing your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner as they just provide small travel sized ones. Overall, we would stay here again!”

“Pros: Place is very veryyy spacious! Perfect for a big group, lots of rooms and beds and 3 full restrooms plus half restroom. The Kitchen was my fav! It is modern , with a big island and fully equipped with everything you need to cook! Rooms are nice and modern too, the space is decently clean they provided lots of towels, small soaps in restrooms. They also allowed us to check out later which was lovely. If I had to say any Cons; Parking is okay for 2/3 cars, very tight space . The pool is a bit smaller than I thought maybe the angle of the picture still a good size though, the house is located in front of a Main Street so pretty busy. & The stairs are a bit old so they make screechy sounds. Overall we had a great stay lots of fun, I give it a 8.5/10! I would book again.”

Plenty of bathrooms with 2 full bathrooms upstairs, 1/2 bathroom on the first floor, and the bedroom with its own bathroom down stairs was perfect for those who have a hard time with stairs. My kids loved the pool on the deck with plenty of sitting room. Living room Comfortable with T.V. I really liked the ceiling fans in every room and plenty of towels for everyone. The kitchen is nice and big with everything you need to cook a meal. Will definitely come back when visiting Galveston 😊”

I think more seating in the living room would be helpful as there is only the couch. If you have more than 2 cars it can be a problem as you are on a main road. We had a great stay and enjoyed the house and Galveston. Russell was easy to contact and addressed any needs quickly. I highly recommend this house and host.”

“We had originally booked a home off of Broadway in Galveston so we could be close to the Strand for Mardi Gras festivities but a few days prior to our stay we were informed that there was a mechanical problem with that property and asked if we would mind changing to another house that was managed by the BeachBox group. We agreed to the replacement and it was an upgrade from the price of the original house that we booked even though the location was a ways down the island towards Jamaica beach. We checked in and the house was fantastic and everything was going good until we woke up the first morning to find that the Heat on the first floor wasn’t working and it was about 50 degrees in the house. Long story short, we contacted the property manager and he was able to dispatch a maintenance man out who replaced a faulty thermostat. The rest of our trip was fantastic. I guess the reason I am writing this is because we had several bad things happen on our little vacation, but Russell worked with us to make sure that we were taken Care of and we still have a great time. I think a lot of people would have complained about how their vacation was ruined by unexpected issues and would have drooled over the opportunity to write a scathing review about something out of anyone’s control.Thank you Russell for helping make our trip memorable. Five stars”
