“Nice place”

“Had a last minute issue with rental but this host jumped in and found my very large group a place very quickly! This house was perfect for our group of 15. Wish we could have stayed more than one night! Definitely will book again”

“Sam was a great host, and is the most responsive owner I've dealt with when renting through any site. We had an issue with the ladder on the deck that Sam took care of quickly. The house itself was great, but the layout was unexpected as you have to walk through a room of bunkbeds to get to a bathroom from another bedroom. If you are ok with that--and, honestly, it wasn't much of an issue--then this home is for you. Great location and amenities, and a great host.”

“This is an older home that has been nicely remodeled. We had 12 adults, a baby and had plently of room for everyone. It's located in a nice and quiet area, with not a lot of traffic. Could be that we came at the end of August. The drive from Galvestion to the house wasn't bad. Traffic moved along nicely. For our first time as a big family to stay in the Galvestion area, we enjoyed ourselves.”

“We were a family of 10 and had a wonderful time at this property! It’s a fun and comfortable space—perfect for a larger group or family getaway. The kids especially loved the arcade games, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. For families with younger kids, we recommend bringing a few board games for rainy days, as the arcade games are more suited for older children. Also, packing some extra towels is a good idea, as the provided ones were a bit limited for a group our size. Overall, the location was great, and the atmosphere made for a memorable stay. Thank you for hosting us—we’d definitely come back!”

“Excellent place to spend time with families and bunk beds!!! Kids loved it and also the gaming room. But I had a concern he was not ready to extend even for an hour to do the check out. But it’s not right to ask for extension as well. So we checked out on time and left the place.”

“We had an excellent stay at this house! The host was friendly and always responsive. The house is huge and nicely decorated. The master suite is alone on the second floor so the privacy is amazing. The bathrooms are extremely spacious. The house is in a very nice area that is quiet. We would love to stay again and highly recommend.”

“The property was great. Love the large kitchen and the game room. The only con was the home had a damp smell which can be alleviated by putting some damp-rid in the rooms. Other than that, a great place to vacation. ”

“I’ll start with the best part; the fishing! The lot next door is an open lot so there was sooooo much room for the kids, all 11 and under, to fish without crossing/tangling lines. Not only that, but because it’s on the main canal, they were pulling up fish left and right. They were just little fish but for the kids it was everything! Even kept the 6 year old’s attention! I would give the location 10 stars if I could. The location far outweighed the bizarre layout (see below) and the kind of gross couch in the living room. I’d definitely stay again! When we pulled up we were a little worried because the outside wasn’t as pretty as others and the garage door was smashed in. But when we walked inside that instantly changed. The kitchen/dining/living area was huge and the kitchen was very nice and clean. Plenty of room for our group of 13 to gather. They layout of the house is very awkward. There is a bathroom off the living area, then you walk through a double door to the kids bunkbed room and there’s another bathroom. Keep walking and you’ll find two bedrooms with king beds but not another bathroom. This meant adults in those rooms had to walk through the kids room to use the restroom. Very weird but we made it work. At the end of the hall is a very narrow spiral staircase that leads to the master bedroom. The master is awesome! Huge with a giant bathroom and private balcony. The only complaint is, due to the scary spiral staircase, my older in-laws didn’t feel comfortable”

“The stay was great. My only complaint would be the only access to the first floor rooms (bunk room and gameroom ) was from an outside staircase. It was raining during our stay. It made it difficult for some of our guest to navigate during the rain. Otherwise, the stay was great.”

“We had a fantastic stay in Galveston! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, and the fishing in the area was great. The accommodations were comfortable and set us up for an enjoyable trip overall. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. Unfortunately, the washer and dryer were out of order, which was inconvenient, especially for a longer stay. Also, the water pressure in the showers was very low, which made it tough to enjoy a good shower after a day out on the water. Despite these minor issues, we had an awesome time and would definitely consider returning for another stay!”

“The trip was not exactly what we had expected. The house we originally booked at had to change last minute, likely do to the recent tropical storm. They provided 2 different options for equitable homes in Galveston as opposed to Freeport. Upon arrival, the house met the need for a quick weekend getaway. While at dinner we learned that the internet was out and after returning realized that the AC had frozen over. Throughout the remainder of the weekend the AC did not work. Throughout the entire trip, we were communicating with the host (Sam) and he was very response. He sent out the maintenance man multiple times but there was only a temporary fix. The host was great but the unforeseen circumstance left the weekend less than desirable.”

“Enjoyable stay! Great location in Sea Isle - great house with a lot space. Of note, the house next door is under construction - very respectful crews and not your usual loud construction; however, if you are planning on a house/deck day, the noise will be disruptive. There are a lot of beds, but only 3 real bedrooms with doors. The primary suite is up a very narrow and tightly curved staircase - difficult to carry anything up or down. The downstairs is its own space with more bunk beds, but in order to get back into the main house, you must exit completely, go upstairs, and go in another door. I was not comfortable letting my teens sleep by themselves because there aren’t enough house keys provided to ensure both upstairs and downstairs could have a set of keys. (None of above was bad - we knew it going in as we read previous reviews, but giving heads up to others for bed situation) LOVED the game room and the overall vibe - exactly as advertised - we will be back in summer!”

“My family had a fantastic time at this beautiful house! The house met all of our needs from location on the bay, a large game room with pool table and arcade, comfortable beds and and amazing hosts. The home was clean and stylish, it felt like home away from home!”

“We were able to sleep comfortably, eat comfortably, and move around comfortably. Kids and teens loved and spent most of their time in the game room. Others were upstairs cooking and watching tv and napping. This was perfect for us. And four restrooms!!! Yes!! The word i keep coming back to is PERFECT!! “Great location, nearby restaurant is fun, super close to beach access and minutes away from a drive-on beach. The rooms were really cute and spacious for a big group. We rented paddle boards through beachbox and it was super easy and fun. I was worried about parking but it ended up being a non-issue to have an additional vehicle. All of the bathrooms were spacious and really nice. Only suggestion is I would wear your shoes around the house, and the bunk room downstairs is warm - we just moved some of the mattresses to the main room downstairs and that worked out. The main room and additional room downstairs has good AC and is cool. I would recommend - some of the kids wanted to "live at the yellow house" - they had so much fun!”
