“We had a wonderful time. There was 11 of us and there was plenty of room. It’s a very close walk to the beach. The large coffee table accommodated our late night board games. I really liked there were two rooms on each floor. We will definitely stay again.”

“I got this Airbnb for me and my girlfriends who came into town to celebrate my graduation. It was honestly amazing! We were able to cook, walk to the beach, play games, and just enjoy each other’s company. There was enough space and enough supplies to house all 14 of us, and the short walk to the beach was the cherry on top! A downside was that the linen pictured in the photos is NOT the same linen that was provided. The Airbnb linen was a very thin “comforter” with a cheap-looking seashell design, while the linen in the photos is white, fluffy, and thick-looking duvets. It got pretty cold at night, which would’ve been awesome had the duvets been there. So I'd recommend bringing a blanket! We still slept fine, we were all just cold, haha (which I'll say is 100% better than being hot). Either putting the duvets back or updating the listing photos would be great! Nonetheless, the host, Sam, was kind, so respectful, and accommodating. I would 100% book here again!”

“This house was the perfect cap to our beach day trip! We woke super early on the second day and enjoyed the sunrise, walked back to the beach and enjoyed a couple more hours of fun. This house was perfect with young kids! We loved the ease of the double standing showers in the bunk room bath. We will be back with the exception of bringing more of our own toiletries, nespresso machine and our own pillows!”

“We were so thankful to find this lovely, spacious, updated, charming home during the off season for our very first visit to Galveston. It was nice to be in a peaceful neighborhood far from the hubbub of the busy bustling Galveston area. The double showers in the bathroom, the super nice bunk bedroom, and the balcony off of the master bedroom. We’re so nice as was the spacious kitchen and family room area. It was great to have the carport and convenient (walkable) beach access.”

“Beautiful house and quaint, security patrolled neighborhood. We loved that though the house was not huge, it never felt small. So many sleeping options and bathrooms. The main living space was a great place to gather with built in Bluetooth speakers all throughout the main level ceiling! Sam was friendly throughout the entire process.”

“Beautiful home with great location of beach. Had a few issues:Front door was very hard to unlock and also lock. There was a trick to it which could have been given this information before our stay. Fire alarm would not turn off and there was no smoke in the house. Called for assistance twice and took too long to respond so we just removed the batteries. Master bathroom sink and toilet leak water onto floor. Master shower was clogged up so we had to use plunger. There is a piece of dried up gum stuck to the rug next to the bed. Downstairs bath was clogged as well. Pans to cook in were definitely NOT non stick as every one we cooked in, all types of food stuck to the pans. Otherwise, It is definitely a big beautiful home and a great location. There were 8 of us and we enjoyed our stay. Master bed was incredibly comfortable. ”

“The home has good bones/location but needs some TLC. There was hair in the bathroom and sheets. Master bath has mold. Instructions for checkout include washing dishes, and this is what heavily impacted the reduced stars - leaving the washing to the tenants clearly does not ensure a clean kitchen. There was hair on several plates and platters so we had to hand wash all dishes before use. There was a pan that looked like it had been scorched, so we decided to scrub it before using. Turns out it wasn’t scorched, it was just dirty and hadn’t been washed before being placed in the cabinets. Also, for a house that advertises up to 14 guests, there were only 6 forks for use. The dish ratio doesn’t match the guests. There are no spare blankets. The furniture is worn and cheap - couch cushions and some mattresses nearly sink to floor. There are only 2 small sauce pans and no pot for cooking spaghetti, so we had to cook pasta in a tiny pot, empty when cooked, and refill it many times for 1 box.”

“This house was perfect for our vacation! Walking was really easy with 6 kids and all their things to the beach and there is a nice beach bar/restaurant right on the beach that we went to each night.”

“I rented a beach house in Crystal Beach months ago not knowing it was jeep weekend. Due to all the chaos and worried about my grandkids. We booked this one and packed and left the other one. First of all, its a beautiful home. This home was beautifully decorated and had all we needed to enjoy the rest of the weekend. It is walking distance to the beach. I did drive and parked by the beach entrance because i had a canopy and chairs. The host checked in on us to ensure we checked in. They provided clear instructions for checkin and checkout. Will definitely come back and stay in the future.”

“Absolutely beautiful seaside house. Within walking distance of the beach! Host was kind and responsive during our stay. House rules were easy to understand and follow. There was ample space for beds, dining, and living room area. The neighborhood was quiet and super clean. We reached out to the host for assistance with a temporary issue with the oven. Host was super helpful and offered for maintenance to come assist promptly. I highly recommend this home! Can’t wait to possibly return in the future! We had the best stay!”

“We celebrated our daughter's sweet 16 birthday at this location with several of her friends and it was perfect! The main living area is very spacious so everyone had room to spread out and be comfortable, play games, etc. Nice balconies for group photos, overall a very well kept beach house. We've used Vrbo many times and this is our second time in a location managed by BeachBox who did a great job communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!”

“The home was spacious, well appointed and a very short walk to the beach. My only suggestion is that the owner should leave instructions for using the oven or replace the control knob because, apparently, they had replaced the oven control knob with the wrong one, and we couldn't figure out how to turn it on and set the temperature. It kept shutting off. The owner, however, responded quickly and sent out a maintenance man, who was able to figure it out. He acknowledged the problem with the control knob. ”

“My fiancé, some old childhood friends, and I enjoyed a calm trip to Galveston. Home was incredibly spacious and provided adequate kitchen tools to cook meals. The home had board games, many TV’s, and was a short walk from the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and 15 minutes away from Pleasure Pier, only 20 minutes from the port. Overall, I would recommend this listing to my family and friends.”

“The beach house is in a great location right outside the busy part of Galveston but close to everything. The Beach house is very spacious and very clean. The front door was a little tricky to lock and unlock but once the manager explained to us how to do it it was not a problem again. Beds were very comfortable and a lot of room to spread out in living room and kitchen. We will definitely be back here.”
