“We enjoyed our stay , it was very close to the port where we needed to be and was in walking distance of a wonderful cafe where we had breakfast called Leland’s also not to far of a walk for shopping. We rested well and enjoyed our stay!”

“We had 3 adults, 2 kids under 11, and an infant. This place is VERY roomy so we were not sitting on top of each other. It was cool walking in from the 100 degree heat which added to the immediate feeling of comfort. The kitchen has an ice cold refrigerator and an assortment of other small kitchen appliances and a nice stove, plpenty of utensils including a silicone baby spoon we were thinking we needed to go buy one. Communication was great, considerably better than some places I have stayed. Everthing to do in Galveston is close by making transportation a non-issue. You can walk or take to trolley to the Strand, Pleasure Pier, and many other attractions. The only downside that I noticed is the builing a older and the only way to get to the apartment is using stairs to the second floor. Since it was only on flight we managed ok. I'd recommend this apartment and if we ever go back to Galveston, I'll defintely check on availability at theis location.”

“The place was spacious and great. The only small complaint that I have would be the smell in the hallway of the entire apartment. When we walked in it smelled like weed.”

“Listing showed that there were four beds. There is actually only three beds. The bunkbeds were two full-size beds. You could fit another person on the top bunk, but the structure was not able to handle two people. We had to place my dad on the couch and there were no extra blankets to make a couch bed.”

“Great location to food , shopping and beach. Pics do not show how big this space actually is. We had three teens and the bunk beds were perfectly and plenty of seating for everyone. Kitchen is complete with everything you need to cook meals. Some of the reviews mentioned the windows not closing all the way and although there were 4 that had the foam in the cracks the AC worked great and it stayed nice and cool the whole stay no matter the time of day. Mind you it’s an older building in the middle of July so that’s great!!! Bathroom is on the small side but plenty of mirrors around the space to do hair and makeup at . There were a few other families staying at the same time in the other rentals but it’s a nice and quiet space. We come to Galveston every few years and try new spaces to stay but I honestly will probably book here again. ”

“Our stay was all over wonderful and relaxing. 3 queens size beds, full bathroom, kitchen and living area. Was very clean and had everything we needed. It has a full ac unit, wall unit, And window unit so we were very comfortable temp wise. While the master bedroom bed was a bit firmer than expected the other 2 bunk beds were very comfortable. We will be staying here again for sure!”

“This is a fantastic place to explore Galveston and was close to the cruise port. I easily give it 5/5. Please know it is close to the Downton bar scene and it is very loud, and we have had a drag race at 2AM outside the house. but that does not deter us from giving this a 5/5 review! Chris is a fantastic host !”

“We were in town for a wedding at Sacred Heart and Tremont Hotel. It was a wonderful location for us ! Sacred Heart Church was a very short car ride. We were able to walk back and forth to the Tremont easily. It was a short walking distance to The Strand and many restaurants, shops and coffee cafe’s . It was special to see the giant cruise ship from the living room window! The loft was very clean and had everything we needed. Chris was a top notch communicator !!! When I had questions he always responded so quickly! We were very impressed with that! He gets an A+ for guest service for sure!! One positive suggestion I would make is to provide a little more directions regarding getting the key out of the lock box , by the door leading to the unit . It took more time than needed to fiddle with it. Printed directions would speed that up. Our stay was so wonderful and we look forward to returning for another visit!!!”

“We requested an early check in over a week in advance, but were unable to due to the cleaning crew needing time. we literally had to wait until exactly 4pm before being allowed to check in. we had a little trouble understanding the key-lock box setup (there's several out front that have nothing to do with guests) at first. then some guy walked up and couldn't get the code to work so he unlocked the main door with a knife (that was a little weird and worrisome). you're greeted with a steep stairway leading to the place which wasn't a big deal except we had 2 large suitcases due to a cruise. All was good once we got in. nice open place with a comfortable bed & kitchen with everything you need. the bathroom was very small with nowhere to hang towels or place you toiletries, but we just pulled a couple of the chairs over and used them as tables. We loved the location, tons of restaurants, shops, Strand District in walking distance.”

“We had a one-night stay prior to our cruise so we looked for a place relatively close to the cruise port, so we chose this loft downtown. The loft was all that we had expected. Finding the entrance was a little confusing but we did find the door. Once in the loft was spacious and the 6 of us got a great night rest. It is walking distance from a lot of things. We found a nice little local coffee shop a half block away where we got breakfast before checking out. I would stay there again if ever in Galveston in the future.”
