“This house was perfect for our extended family vacation! Plenty of sleeping space for everyone to be comfortable including fun bunk rooms for the cousins! The living space was spacious and comfortable as was the kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and dishes. The main fridge wasn't working which was a little annoying, but there were multiple fridges in the kitchen area and so there was still plenty of space to keep all of our perishables cold. The view was spectacular! The game room was an extra perk that the teens enjoyed. We loved the direct beach access and enjoyed so much time out on the beach and in the waves. We would definitely be interested in staying here again in the future! ”

“First, I would stay here again for the massive windows and the views you get from them! The large sofa and two blue chairs in the living room are very comfortable. The kitchen in roomy but a little run down. Everything works fine but the main frig didn't work, so we used the other one in the corner. “Our group of 14 loved it. Most bunk rooms we’ve ever seen. The living room, kitchen & dining room was larger than it looks online & great view of the beach. It rained on & off all week, but we could all be in this space without feeling crowded, and then run barefoot to the beach when it quit! Had a problem with 1 air conditioner, but repairman came immediately. It is showing some wear & tear, but that is normal at the older, right on the beach houses. We would definitely stay again!”

“This house was perfect for my family of 13. Everyone had plenty of space to be comfortable and have privacy when needed. And the living room and kitchen areas are huge and great for having everyone in the same place at the same time! Being right on the beach is amazing. The views from the deck are great. Fire-pit came in handy too. Good restaurants were close enough if we needed to get out. Other people have mentioned that the cleaning crew could do better and that would be our only complaint as well. When we arrived there was already some sand on the ground from the beach - to be expected at the beach, but I don't expect that from the moment we walk in. WIth the astronomical cleaning fees you pay on these vacation sites it should be cleaner than that when you walk in. There were old food crumbs in the living room on the rug. The rug in general looked like it had never been vacuumed. If you are a OCD clean freak this might not be the place for you. BUT had 3 families with a bunch of crazy kids, so for us it wasn't a big deal!”

Communication was quite effective with the management. There were a few broken kitchen cabinets and messy drawers but it did not negatively effect our stay whatsoever.”

“The view was beautiful and made for lovely walks on the beach. All kids had plenty of room to spread out and play, eat, watch tv on the sofa. We took advantage of the grill and fire pit as well. The kids were able to roast marshmallows, make s’mores and drink hot cocoa. Great memories! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a family beach gathering.”

“This house is in a great location. It is located right on the beach which is easy to access, and is far from the crowded parts of Galveston. It is a very spacious house. We had a great time with our family. On the flip side the house is old and in need of repairs, especially the exteriors. We had stinking water dripping on the cars in the carport, and some minor drip in the living room as well. Opening the outside shower causes waterlogging in the entry foyer at the bottom of the stairs... Also, there were no beach towels provided and barely any soap or shampoo, which we found odd given the high price we were paying.”

“Host was responsive at booking but kept getting same response of check back day of, and then the day of took longer response time. We were able to get there a little early and park on site and head to the beach, which was conveniently located and liked the private walkway. The property needs some TLC especially on the outside picnic area, the outdoor shower wasn’t rinsed well, sandy and muddy, ended up leaking into the entry way, you can it was an unfinished work in progress, and there were ants everywhere. Would be nice if the brush was cleared to view the beach while grilling. The upstairs deck was great! Made up what the downstairs lacked. The property accommodates large groups well. The kitchen was well appointed which is where we spent most of our family time. I didn’t like that the hot water ran out on me and I had to take cold showers the entire stay. Also would have been helpful to have labeled light switches. Otherwise we would consider booking again.”

“Great place! We were a group of 9 adults and 2 kids. This place was so spacious! The kitchen has everything you need to cook, bake, making coffee etc. The bathrooms are recently renovated and nice. The first floor game room is a plus! The water front property means you’re only a few steps away from the beach. The beach doesn’t allow vehicles, which made it safe for the kids. We fished a lot, built sand castles, and enjoyed the water. You’re also a short drive to bait stores, restaurants and other stores on the sea wall.”

“This is a fantastic house with everything you need for an exceptionally clean, comfortable, relaxing weekend. Perfect location right on the beach and the layout of the house allows for a lot of guests to stay and have privacy, but an amazing huge community space, kitchen, and decks. Also, there is a grocery store 1 block outside the neighborhood, which is super convenient. Would stay again in a heartbeat!”

“My church group stayed at this property. It's a nice property with amazing views, plenty of beds, and a nice layout. Direct beach access and an outside shower is great. We did run into some of the problems listed by other reviews - main fridge was out of service and the three smaller fridges provided didn't work well. Kitchen sink and dishwashers were clogged. Outside trash receptacles were full. The maintenance team did respond and came out to flush out the plumbing. They were great, but it was definitely disruptive as they had to shut the water off for awhile. They weren't able to address the trash or fridge situation, so we had to make do with the situation. Otherwise, The property was nicely maintained and we did have a great time. Would stay with them again if they address those issues. ”

“Short one day stay at an excellent location. Great views, and a nice home but a few issues. Not really flexible on check in/check out but I suppose if you’re full then it’s understandable. Toilet seat in one of the bathrooms was completely loose making it unusable. Large fridge/freezer in the kitchen wasn’t working at all and we put our food in there only for the meat to thaw out and our drinks to remain warm. There are 2 other fridges in the kitchen but it would’ve been nice to know before hand the main one wasn’t working. Natalie did offer to send someone over to fix the issues but it was late since we were at the beach most of the day. Ended up killing 2 large roaches in the kitchen. Group wasn’t happy about that. Last issue was the internet. Our phone signals were not great and the internet could not handle more than 10 connections at a time. We were a group of 16 but a lot of us couldn’t connect to wifi unless someone else got off. Just be aware if you’re with a larger group”

“Overall no issues but the house was a bit run down. Door knobs needed to be fixed, table is really wobbly, low spots in the floor. We also found the oven had a lot of cleaning chemical so when we turned it on the toxic smell filled the house. ”

“Broken dishwashers not even mounted, soft spots in the floor that felt dangerous, a noticeable mildew smell upstairs that was masked with lots of bleach, overall need to repair and update areas of the home. It is a beautiful location and could be stunning, but the repairs that have been done are bad and it just needs a full renovation. It seems like repairs are only needed when there are a million repairs. We felt catfished to say the least.”

“Pros: Nice place, with great views. AC is pretty good. Couch is very comfy with plenty comfy of beds as well. Perfect beach access. Well stocked kitchen with utensils but some of the drawers Cons: There were some mice droppings in one of the rooms. The deck had numerous nails sticking up. Two of the games in the game room had worn out controllers and weren’t playable. The internet wasn’t working initially but we were able to connect to the router directly as a bypass. Some of the bunk beds had missing wood with nails exposed. ”

“The location was great but the house needs updating outside and some on the inside. It was a hot summer day but the a/c could not keep up, the wifi didn't work and there were several roaches in the kitchen. They did get the wifi going before we left. Other than that there was plenty of space, beds, well stocked cabinets in the kitchen and a nice view!”

“overall the house accommodated our big family. the house does need some repairs, the hot water kept going out in sections of the house but Natalie was responsive. I liked having two dish washers with such a big group however one needs to be replaced . there were also broken chairs in the laundry room , got in the way of moving around when doing laundry. The 3rd floor needs some attention. Despite these small inconveniences, my family enjoyed our time together.”
