“We booked this house for two moms and seven recent high school grads! The boys absolutely loved it! They had the entire bottom floor to themselves. They called it “the man cave.” we were a quick walk to the beach, and also had a fabulous pool to enjoy in our own backyard. We also enjoyed cooking out and sitting around the fire pit at night. I would highly recommend this house.”

“The house was great and the neighborhood was very peaceful. The game room downstairs and pool were a family favorite. The location was perfect for us, only 20 minutes to downtown Galveston and minutes away from some great beaches. We did have 2 minor issues but we didn't feel they affected our overall stay. One minor issue we had was that the pool guy left the gate opened and our dogs got out, but host was quick to apologize and our dogs just went to front yard. The other issue was the floor in downstairs bathroom has a big soft soft, we just avoided that area. These were minor issue to us compared to how great everything else was and we would stay again if visiting Galveston.”

“Went for our annual cousins trip with my grandparents. Truly a great home for a large group. The bunk room was a hit, just wish it was attached to the home. Great pool, not too big but not too small. Only downfall I would say is the refrigerator in the bunk room struggled to cool down. Other than that 0 complaints. Looking forward to our trip next year!”

“We have a lot of older kids and it was so nice to spread out and enjoy our own spaces. The pool was a perfect size! The kids played video games and the noisy stuff down stairs. The pictures were a little misleading in the main floor area. It was much larger than it seemed. We all ate our meals in the dining room or spread out to the patio. Enjoyed the BBQ pit and fire pit too.”

“Our stay was okay overall, but the property shows signs of heavy use. The laminate flooring by the entrance is peeling up, the couch is quite worn, and there was some trash in the front yard when we arrived, which made the first impression less welcoming. The space worked for our family, but for the price, we realized we could have booked two hotel rooms instead. The 4pm check-in time was also a headache and of course they want you out by 11am to start cleaning for the next guest…Extending the times by 1 hour (3pm to Noon) would make a big difference! What really saves this place is the pool—it was clean, enjoyable, and became the highlight of our stay. With a little upkeep and attention to detail, this rental could be much more worth the price.”
