“We came for a weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We love Galveston and needed a place for the weekend. This place was in a great location, about a 5 minute drive walk from some family nearby and right by everything down town. Very cozy place and I would recommend. Would book here again next time we come to Galveston.”

“It’s a cute little apartment. We didn’t have issues with finding parking but I feel like it’s pretty important to know that the parking close to the loft is only free for a certain amount of time, 9a-6p it was only 2 hour parking. There’s no set parking spot. We didn’t get lucky and was able to park close by everytime. The host was very responsive anytime we messaged them. The 1 bathroom is in the master room so any other guests would have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay at this loft. It was cute and not cluttered at all and the queen bed was so comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place. It’s only 5 min from cruise ports and deep sea fishing boats.”

“We had a great stay. Like some other guests mentioned it could be awkward for some the way the bathroom is situated. The only way to get to it is through one of the bedrooms but it wasn’t a problem for us. It is an old building but that is the charm in all of it. The world is too grey and white as it is. The location is the really great part. You can walk to everything. Stars is right around the corner for breakfast and the strand is only a couple more blocks from there. If you are a light sleeper: the only time we heard people was if they were in the hallway but we were on the top floor so was not bothered beyond that.”

“Very easy check in and a very helpful host! Stayed here the night before embarkation on a cruise and the location was SUPER close to the cruise terminal. Had some issues with a barking dog in another unit, but that's definitely not the fault of the host. Would like to stay here again in the future!”

“Charm, space, location and value! Positive: The bang for your buck value of space, comfort and location are excellent. Be prepared to walk stairs to your floor level level and for the squeak of old timber wood floors but if you love old world charm and historic lodging you’ll appreciate the esthetic and vibe offered with modern conveniences. For our last minute family trip for 5 we were very happy. Negative: A few dust bunnies under the bed which we moved to have easier access out (the queen bedroom) but nothing that bothered us. Suggest y’all add a few coffee options (tea & cocoa would be nice) and perhaps a sugar container, you could keep in the fridge to avoid any potential bug issues. Have staff regularly check stock on coffee filters etc.”

“The loft was just as described and nicely kept. Everything was comfortable and roomy. The beds are big. There were plugs everywhere, which we appreciated. It really is a cute loft. You can see many features from a time gone by, mixed with numerous new updates (kitchen).On the flip side. The elevator does not work. We knew we would be on the 3rd (top) floor, but we were not prepared for the climb. Parking is on the street. You need to get to the loft well before check-in to secure a decent parking spot and to check on your vehicle if needed. It's very close to The Strand, so walking is not a problem. Lastly, we did not feel like WE should be the ones taking out the garbage upon checkout. The garbage bin is downstairs, out the door, and to the back of the building. Some options could have been made available.”

“What a special find! Very neat and clean, well maintained and comfortable. Very quiet area, parking on the street around the building. My only complaint has nothing to do with the apartment. There is no working elevator and the apartment was on the 3rd floor. Would definitely stay here again if the elevator was working!”

“It was exactly what was pictured! AC was nice and cold. Kitchen was well stocked. The location was excellent, walking distance to just about everything. Water pressure was great. Bikes were a fun perk. I do wish there had been a full length mirror but we would absolutely stay here again!”
