“Overall this beach house was great, there were a few concerns with a broken railing on the deck and a few cleaning issues in the kitchen and it lacked a few things in the kitchen like hot pads and measuring spoons and cups that would have been preferred for cooking but the host responded well to my concerns and hopefully future stays will have those items addressed.”

The bedsheets, towels, dishes, and all the major stuff was clean; however, we noticed a few little things around the house that need to be cleaned, and we did find a few cockroaches in the house. Again overall, we were generally happy. The location is wonderful and the neighborhood is very nice, we felt safe here even late at night going on walks in the neighborhood or even down to the public access beach, which is very close.”

“We very much enjoyed our time in Galveston. Staying at this home was icing on the cake of a perfect relaxing trip. Loved how clean the house was. Lots of dishes, towels and space for all of us to enjoy together and independently. We loved how easy it was to scan a QR code for the Wi-Fi. Streaming options on the TV. Activity options were also provided with a discount code. Beach is right across the street. A perfect distance from the tourist areas if you want to be away from large crowds and relax on the beach. There was plenty of parking, to get to the beach was just down the street (there is an entrance with parking straight from the house) or just a lovely 5 min walk. We will definitely book this place again, when we left we accidentally left a family memento and the manager quickly and kindly shipped it to us immediately. Loved the stay and can’t wait to stay again. ”

We did wish for a few more amenities like bath mats, potholders, spatula, bars of soap, and salt. Beyond a few extra items that would have been convenient, we had a great stay.”
