“This house is huge and beautiful. We are a group of six women birders, and the bayside location next to Sportsman Road was ideal. The views of the water and the birds were unobstructed and the sunsets were spectacular. The house was clean, well-stocked and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well on both floors, which made for pleasant sleeping. Everyone commented that their mattresses were comfy, although the comforters, sheets and towels could use an upgrade. We had a little trouble getting the keys out of the lockbox when we first arrived, but no other issues that required any calls to the host. We appreciated that the light switches were labelled so that we didn’t have to maneuver down dark staircases. Speaking of stairs, guests need to be fit to get into the house and to go up and down all the staircases. This house might not be a good fit for anyone who is mobility-impaired. Otherwise, I highly recommend this lovely home to anyone visiting Galveston.”

“If you're looking for a place with a beautiful view, yet not right smack in the middle of chaos this is the ideal location. You're close enough to everything, yet far away enough to feel like you're in your own private oasis. We had 12 people in our party ranging from 5-71 years old. The house was perfect for everyone. There was enough space for the kids to play and enough room in the house for everyone to unwind. The kitchen has just about anything you could possibly need to cook or bake. There are plenty of towels, no beach towels though so bring some of those with you. Each twin bed has two pillows and the others have four. There is a built in camping style grill, it works great we were able to grill 11 hamburgers on it at one time. All of the twin beds in the bunk room have their own USB charging outlets and lights. The view from the back deck at sunset is beautiful. My teenage daughter asked me to add that this is a great location for kids, and it's set up perfectly. ”

“So the house was even more beautiful then the pictures showed. The surroundings were so peaceful and perfect for relaxation. the private access to the bay was perfect too, because we had some storms come in and the beach was restricted due to the weather, but the entire time the bay was calm and cool. The space was perfect for this family of five and we had my parents and grandma come and stay the last night, without anyone feeling cramped. We had access to the internet and our streaming apps, which helped one morning when a crazy storm blew through. It's centrally located and it was only about a 10 minute drive to restaurants and other activities. What was really nice, since we had storms, they had an extra covered staircase leading into the living room and kitchen, so after we bought groceries one night, and it was pouring, we never got wet, getting everyone and everything into the house. This stay was first class in our opinion, and will surely stay again very soon.”

Private bathrooms in every guest room! The daytime view & natural light in the main area was amazing. Easy access to all area attractions with a short drive. “5 Stars – The Perfect Bayfront Getaway! Our new favorite Airbnb! This bayfront Airbnb on Galveston Bay exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking panoramic views and sunrises over the water. The home was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. There were only three of us, but definitely plan to come back soon with a larger group as there is tons of room inside, on the multiple decks, and surrounding property. Great place for activity - walking, bike riding, and fishing. Caught flounder and redfish on the water directly off the porch during the day and tons of catfish after dark. Tucked away in a private, gated community, the property offered total peace and quiet while still being just a short drive from the best of Galveston’s restaurants and attractions. Host was very friendly and proactive with information. Property was so great we didn’t have any problems but feel they would have addressed any issues quickly.”

“Wow! This place exceeded my expectations! A great place to house multiple families! Every room had their own bathroom! A tucked away gem! Beautiful home with a lot of space. My only complaint would be that they only provided one pack and play and with a home that big you are bound to need more with multiple families. I reached out hoping that they would be willing to invest in another one but they didn’t. So we had to bring several even though we only needed them for one night as we were going on a cruise the remaining week. ”

“Roller dial Knox box has to be exact with the location of all the numbers or it will not work. I use the push button with the black pull down tab, Knox boxes on all my doors. Just easier to operate. Really nice house with lots of beds. Bathrooms were great. Plenty of space for all 14 of us. Super clean as well. Parking was great and it’s easy to locate the house.”

“Our group of four families stayed for a dance competition on the island. The home was immaculate. Everyone had their own bathrooms, plenty of beds for everyone and lots of space to spread out. The neighborhood is quiet and while it feels far from everything, was never really more than 10-15 mins from where we needed to be. We liked being away from the craziness of seawall and crowds. Plenty of parking and room for “stuff”. Would definitely stay again! ”

“It is always enjoyable. This is the second time our staff has used the house for a retreat. It is a beautiful setting, but as I mentioned, it is just a little far from restaurants, forcing a group to DoorDash. The house is very functional, nicely appointed, and always very clean. The view is spectacular and provides moments of relaxation for the most stressed participants of the group. Jessica was a wonderful help in planning the retreat and stayed on top of any matter. She always provided information in a timely manner from the moment the reservation was made to the moment I notified her we had departed. I highly recommend the place and Jessica as the host. “Egrets nest was the perfect home for our family to stay while on vacation. The house was very clean. Each room had its own bathroom which was very nice with more than one family staying. There are not many homes in the community that are occupied therefore it was very quiet. The view was beautiful and we actually saw dolphins one morning. There is also a pubic beach less than 5 minutes away I would highly recommended this property ”

“This was an incredible stay for us. This property has such great views of the water and since a lot of the properties haven't been built yet, it felt very private, restful, and peaceful. This is a gated community so it felt safer. The house itself is so spacious and has 5 bedrooms and all of them had attached bathrooms and toilets plus a guest toilet. They did a fantastic job of making the place look real great. The kitchen and living space was great. The kitchen had cookware, utensils, silverware, etc - everything you'd need. Plenty of space in the pantry and fridge for anything you bring. The best place in the mornings and the evenings was the patio that had the great view - there are actually two patios on the 2nd and 3rd floors but we hung out a lot on the 2nd floor patio. Plenty of parking space on the 1st floor. The host was very responsive and had great overall communication. Thank you! We'd absolutely get this space again!”
