“It was a perfect set up. There was a very friendly restaurant within 5 minutes of the house that had a large variety of delicious food and drinks. We drove for miles and seen so many things to do.”

“Great place for what we needed. Minutes from the beach. The downstairs bedroom is basically detached from the rest. Only a bedroom. No bathroom or stairs connecting. You get from downstairs room to upstairs main area via outside stairs. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.”

“The house looked exactly like the photo! Everything we needed was there as far as adequate dishes, towels, even had spices and coffee! I did add some more coffee to the pot an d also left laundry soap and s want beads for the next family. Loved that it has so many beds even though we didn’t use them all. They did send me an invitation to get free beach towels that we picked up at the hardware store. Just had to leave them at house when we checked out. The bad was no television in the room with all the beds. Two bunk beds were in a room downstairs and the key would not unlock the door knob. The yard was perfect except for mosquitoes but we figured that would happen. The bed in the room off the kitchen was horribly uncomfortable. Me and my husband had to sleep in separate beds. The air filter was so dirty we took it out so we wouldn’t be breathing the dirt on it. Over all it was a good house and location a plus. We would come back to the house just sleep in different rooms.”

“Sam was an awesome host. Would rent from him again. Place was a little smaller than described in the pictures. But overall it worked out and we had a comfortable stay. One of the bedrooms is located downstairs. So you do have to walk upstairs to use the bathroom. Tv remotes did not work so we did go without tv the first night. Sam did offer to fix the issue. When I informed him. Lastly beautiful neighborhood and so peaceful.”

“Perfect for family vaca- large family/teens/multi-family. Lots of room to bring all kinds of games. Streaming/casting setup easy for game night, plan for days staying in! If you cook/bake bring an apron, whisk, sml measuring spoon set, seasoning, cooking oil, oven mitts, lrg round pizza pan. No toaster oven or air fryer. They do have a 4-slice toaster, range microwave, counter microwave, mixers, blender, tea kettle, colanders, pots/pans, baking pans, lrg serving tray, cutting boards. Walking/biking, neighborhood safe/quiet, nice sidewalks -only few blocks from beach, park, church, grocery/convenience store or 4min drive to Dollar Gen. Walkie talkies reached from airb&b to the park. Lots of silverware/knives/cups/mugs/plates, storage space, lounging space. Wish A/C could set below 70, ceiling fans good but not quite enough for our comfort and living room fan must have light on if fan on. PM- Bring ear plugs/noise machine - sound travels. Supplied cleaning wipes, pods, trash bags, sponge”

“Absolutely amaizing place. 4 of us went there for a relaxation get away that was much needed. The place is beautiful, the neighborhood was quiet which was needed. A few min walk to the beach. We BBQ two nights, enjoyed our time on the front deck and back lawn.Amenities (pots,pans,utensils and more were available) towels, travel soap/shampoo/conditioner ). all the neighbour's walked/ drove by and all said hello. beautiful sunset view view. Not a far drive to Galveston Island pleasure pier (10-12 min off season) liquor store and restaurants very close by. As we were only 4, we each took a room and used the the bigger beds. Very comfortable!! one day we had high winds,and as we needed to relax, we watched movies. Couch.Super cozy! a plus If I'm in Houston and going to Jamaica beach, I know where I will be staying !”

“Communication from the time we rented through the app until the last day was excellent, very friendly and helpful, the property was very clean and comfortable. Things that are beyond the structural that made us love it, which is that we could walk to the beach, have coffee in the morning on the porch, the view is beautiful, definitely pet friendly, they were able to run around downstairs while we spent time with the family, these are things that we value a lot, we will definitely be back next summer😊”
