“The unit is very cool with an old historic feel, located in a great area to walk to the Strand, restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. The communication was also excellent and fast with anything we needed. The only issue is if you have anyone staying above you, you will hear every step they take and every move they make. Unfortunately for us we had night owls staying above us that were constantly moving at all hours and sounded like a heard of elephants. Aside from that, totally worth the price!”

“Our loft was the perfect size for three guests and one dog. There were two beds unused so even more guests could have comfortably stayed here. The loft was clean and comfortable. There were nearby restaurants and shops on the strand and we even visited an art studio one block away and left with one of a kind creations. Although it is not on the Seawall this loft is amazing. Comfortable and peaceful and private. Highly recommend!”

This place was kept clean and we felt very at home here. There was one issue that came up just before we left (to no fault of the owner) but they had someone out very quickly to take care of it. “Great overnight stay in Galveston! Be prepared though for some tedious steps. Our apartment was on the second floor and hauling luggage can be a task! I’d do it again though as the apartment was perfect!! Close to Mod coffee and Taquilos. The best places to grab a coffee and dinner in town!! ”

My only thing is that the bedrooms have high up windows that allow light from the hallways to shine through so it was hard for me to sleep — it’d be nice if there were curtains to block it! Otherwise though, host was very responsive and nice. Would recommend!”

“This place was clean, quiet and in a great location near the Strand. One issue we had was initially finding the property. The communication we got was conflicting as there were two different addresses associated with the property, and one of them is around the corner from the actual entry point. Make sure you enter from the Church street location, and all is good! The other issue was that one of the adults in our property got hot in the middle of the night, and they restrict you from adjusting the thermostat, so he was a bit cranky about that. Otherwise, everything was fabulous!”
