“This is is AMAZING! It’s very spacious and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the house was a great. Took us 3 mins to the beach. The pool was a little chilly but really nice after being in the sun and beach all day, was really nice to come back too. We also utilized the canoes it was a bonus to have there, super fun and was able to allThe houses in the area. The layout of the house was perfect for our family getaway. We can’t wait to stay again. LOVE LOVE LOVE this house. ”

“Our family does a family beach week every year around July 4th. This is definitely one of the best we experienced. The photos didn’t do it justice. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. Definitely looking at this place for next year.”

“Moby Dicks is a comfortable, modern, and clean beach home. The pool was the main attraction as it is in the shade with seating in both shade and sun so appealing for all. My suggestions to make the home even better would be to replace the outdoor charcoal grill with an easier to use outdoor gas grill. Also, I suggest that the garage be organized with more bins/shelves that are labeled for the pool toys, life jackets, etc.”

“This home was perfect for my little family! It had everything we needed—just bring groceries. Spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. We grilled, swam in the heated pool (yes, controlled by app!), kayaked, and relaxed on both the sunny top deck and shaded lower deck. There were coolers, life vests, and plenty of seating. The grill is a bit outdated and rusty, which stood out given how perfect the home is, but it still worked fine. The house was well-stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, and even a washer/dryer—great after a day in the sun. WiFi was fast, and entry was easy via code. There are outdoor cameras, but they felt like a safety measure, not intrusive. This was the perfect mini Mother’s Day getaway. We’ll definitely be back!”

“We have stayed at several homes in Jamaica Beach and this is by far the most beautiful, well appointed home. There is so much space in the large bedrooms, beautiful decor, spotless, comfortable beds, open living area, etc. The outside has plenty of seating and space in the shade or sun. The pool is such a nice bonus as well. Cannot say enough about this beautiful home. We will be back!”

“Greta place in Jamaica beach. If you’re looking to get away from it all and not be close to your neighbors this isn’t the place but man the beds and decor and layout were amazing for our group of over a dozen adults. Completely comfortable and cool and easy. Highly recommend!!!”

“This house had it all with plenty of room for a large group. We had 16 with extra space. Lots of parking space, great amenities included - paddle boards, fishing poles, beach chairs, games, tent, a great pool and deck. Loved that everyone had a place to sit for dinner and to Play games. Neighbors were friendly and didn’t mind all the kids coming in and out. I highly recommend this place.”

“Immaculate place and great location. We enjoyed the kayaks, heated pool, and being close to the beach and state park. Comfortable beds! The bikes are super old and a bit sketchy, but that’s the only negative I can think of.”

“We had a marvelous time! The house was spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishware and cookware. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom arrangement was perfect for our extended family of 11. We enjoyed the pool and had several competitive water volleyball games---needless to say, it was great fun. The kids also loved fishing off the dock and the 3-4 that they caught were just enough to keep them engaged and make it fun. We've stayed in probably 6 or 7 rentals up and down Galveston Island over the years, and this home was by far the best! Thanks so much, Donna, for a wonderful stay!”
