“The host was extremely responsive to a door code issue preventing access to the home. Maintenance responded quickly to a hot water issue and a fire alarm issue. Response time on messaging was less than 2 minutes. Details on the property should include information on handicap accessibility. Also, a link to operations manuals for the pool and hot tub would be helpful. The home was nicely appointed and fit our family wonderfully. The kitchen amenities were outstanding as was the availability of dishwasher and clothes washing soaps and powders. Clothes hangers were abundant and all bedrooms had what was needed for a pleasant stay. The deck, patio, and pool areas were a great asset to the home and made the stay even better!”

“We had a great time on our annual summer Jamaica beach vacation. No complaints about the house. Communication was good, beds were comfy, everything was as advertised. We loved the dock to fish, pool to swim in that is covered by the house, and the hot tub is nice and hot. Can’t wait to stay again.”

“I would give the experience a 10 except that we had a problem at check-in with the door code to enter house. The number provided would not unlock door and we had to use a housekeeping key from a lock box for our entire stay, even though i asked several times if they could update/correct code but. The correct code given did allow us to enter the garage door. Other than that, we loved the house and location so much we've already booked for next summer!”

“We had a great time. Highly recommended. It is indeed the perfect place to do anything, we fished, kayaking and alot of stuff to do. The only thing that is missing/recommend probably a chair lift for disabled people or old folks who are not able to walk or having difficulty walking. Thanks!”

“Great house for large groups with all the usual amenities. We had ample space for our large family. The house pool, and easy access to the canals and Galveston state park were a big plus. We did kayaking and fishing with easy access from the property. At the time of morning coffee you have an easy view of sunrise from the front balcony.”

“Donna’s home was so spacious and cozy , from the comfy bed and sheets to the cleanest bathroom . She was so accommodating and responsive . I had my 1 year old with us and had to pack a lot and to my surprise she had provided us with a high chair ! ( life saver) the beach wasn’t the greatest but Donna’s airbnb was the best part and made up for it . The pool was great and had shade at all times and the patio to sit and hang out along with the pier to fish was the best part . I would recommend and stay here again and again.”

“We really enjoyed this house and would stay again. It was super clean. The layout was perfect for our group. The pool and hot tub worked great and were simple to operate. It was great to have a covered pool and patio. The kitchen had everything we needed. My only critique would be to add a gas grill. Had not used a grill like the one provided in years. Communications were simple, clear and prompt when needed. ”

“The house was fabulous! Very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. All of the bedrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor patios. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We kayaked both from the front of the house across the street and behind the house in the canal. Beach is a short drive away. Kitchen was amazing. We ate in several times and the kitchen amenities came in very handy. PlayedApples to Apples with the whole family and we had a great time.we would love to come back. “Perfect home for a weekend getaway! The home was overall great! Everything was exactly how it's pictured. The host was very responsive and made sure we were well taken care of. Only problem we had were a bit of bugs inside the kitchen area but given the location of Galveston it's unavoidable. We were satisfied with our stay and would definitely come back!”

We all enjoyed fishing / crabbing on both sides of the house and there were 2 crab traps that we used that came with the rental. Love the place.”

“This home was the perfect place for our group of 8 individuals. Plenty of space to hang out inside and out. Pool was fantastic and covered patio space was perfect to get out of the sun but still enjoy the breeze and fresh air. Furnishings are well done and beds comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed to cook in a couple of nights. Jamaica Beach is such a great neighborhood (very quiet and peaceful) with a mini mart at the entrance for those last minute items. Would absolutely stay here again.”

“Bit of an issue with the hot tub. The app is not user-friendly and often lags. Had to press the "heat" button about every hour, and needed the phone to be near the actual hot tub in order to work. Also, please make sure the heater is on when ur trying to get situated into the Airbnb, or else the hot tub will not work. Overall, great experience. Donna and the host were very responsive and nice, and we had a great time.”

“Such a perfect rental! Great location with views of the water from the front and back of property. Felt private as no homes directly in front or behind. Multiple large decks and balconies gave great options for enjoying time outside. Two living spaces inside allowed kids and adults to space out. The house was so large and it was really nice that each room has its own bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need to prepare meals. Would 100% book again!!”
