“We really enjoyed our days there. The pool was clean, and with these summer days we made the most of it! It was definitely what we enjoyed the most. The only thing we noticed that we didn’t like was that when we opened the fridge, there was a strong smell of chlorine, and we were concerned about storing food knowing the fridge had been cleaned with so much chlorine. They could use a healthier cleaning product since it’s where food is kept. Other than that, everything was great! The house has plenty of beds, lots of space in every area, the kitchen is perfect, and the backyard and pool area are the best! It’s also very close to a super clean and beautiful beach area. We would staying here again for sure!”

“We stayed at this house for a cheer competition & it accommodated all 17 of us comfortably. Very big, very spacious, & ample amount of parking. You will feel right at home. We love how they supplied Plenty of towels for everyone for the entire weekend. At first we were sad that 2 of the rooms didn’t have a TV, but we had so much fun & entertainment we didn’t need them. Mr.Sam was a great host. Very responsive & accommodating. The only problem we had was the bathroom wasn’t clean. It still had hair in the tub/shower & on the counter. Other than that, we had no complaints.”

“This property was very spacious especially when traveling w/ a large group like ours. Pool was absolutely the best part of this property , our family used it every day to cool off from the heat. It's private & close to so many things which was nice BUT the AC works poorly , it's an older home & I'd recommend updating the unit b/c the only way to keep the house cool was to keep every bedroom door close & pray it would go down which at times it would be 8-9pm & still read 79, didn't know this until ac tech came out & told us. Cleaners , awful - There was blood on the bathroom wall which never got cleaned, beds had fake lashes , crumbs on the bed, bowl w/ 1/2 onions . We were offered a spot cleaning the next day, we agreed but they never showed. Room w/ 2 double beds is a room in a closet w/ 2 dbl bunkbeds which is not disclosed. Overall our family had a great time & lastly bring bug spray those mosquitos are insane but did not take away from our stay. Thank you Sam!”

“The owners were very helpful and attentive when approached with concerns. The property was nice and the owners were quick to rectify any and all concerns brought to their attention. Home was the perfect size for our large group and we all fit comfortably!”

“We had a great time! The only downside was the mosquitoes—but to be fair, they did let us know ahead of time that the property is by a lake and it's that time of year. Just come prepared with repellent and you'll be fine! The house itself was awesome. If you're coming with a large group like we did, you might want to bring a couple of bigger pots and pans. The kitchen is super well-stocked with tools and cookware, but we found ourselves cooking in batches to feed our crowd. The kids basically lived in the pool, and the adults loved hanging out around the fire pit in the evenings. It was the perfect setup for relaxing and reconnecting. We’ll definitely be back!”

“there is plenty of space but unfortunately the ac was struggling so while it wasn't a super hot texas day- the inside was pretty muggy. the extra bunk room with the games was only cooled by a window unit that did nothing to actually cool the space so ultimately that sleeping area was unusable. the pool was nice and cool though and like I said- there's a ton of space for people even though theres not really a ton of seating so keep that in mind. it's not the most updated place I've stayed but if the ac was working, and there was more furniture for lounging inside- this would be great space for large family and friends stays”

“MOSQUITOS should be added to the tile. I understood there was a recent storm. Although if the owners are making their home available for guests, some consideration of a pool net would be an amazing incentive. Our heads were being bitten by mosquitos while in the pool. Great private place. I am warning those mosquitos attacked as we walked to our car. ‘Buy mosquito spray’ should be added to the description, since the property is next to standing water. Also the couch was pristine on the photos, but not really in person.”
