The Airbnb property is secluded itself and the pool nice. However, the stay was ruined when we came across 9 cockroaches all in a short period of time. The first was around 11. An hour later we saw the last 8 within 30 mins of each other. After the 3rd roach we began packing and preparing to leave but not before coming across roaches 4-8. We ended up leaving at 2 am and driving over an hour to get home. When I contacted the host I was told homes on the coast tend to have roaches and that’s why they provide roach spray. When I said it was an infestation (because I have NEVER seen 9 cockroaches in one setting ) I was told it was not – since they had not received any complaints prior to mine. I was also told they wld contact the owners -I nvr heard from them again after checking back twice
