“We stayed four nights. The beds are very comfortable, the house was clean, kitchen well stocked and the pool is great! And lots of space for a large group. The “bunk” room is a nice area for kids and quiet time. All in all would definitely recommend.”

“Great location conveniently located near boat ramp, marina, gas station and Dollar Store. Only a 10 minute drive into town. The house was very spacious and well equipped for multiple families. Hosts were polite and responsive. A little on the pricey side compared to some other properties on the lake that do have a private boat dock and open view of the lake. Inside could use a fresh coat of paint throughout, and cabinets show wear. The house was clean though, just well lived in. We would definitely stay again if we have a large group due to the size and convenience to the marina and Pine Island on the lake. Overall great stay!”

“Great place, very roomy and comfortable. The pool was nice, garage that was converted to a bedroom/playroom was great for the kids. Paint on walls was marked and chipped in places but it didn’t detract from our stay. If anything, it made me feel more comfortable allowing my kids to be kids and run around playing like normal.”

“We have so much fun at this beautiful home. It is extremely large. The kitchen has every supply that you need from white waffle maker to can opener, baby utensils. I mean everything. The only thing that I would say about this space is it’s a little dated a little need a little professional touches, but besides that it’s amazing.”

“Stayed a week, only issue was the pool wasn’t clean when we got there but Chris fixed the issue right away. For families with small children/infants there was new unused children’s utensils and a high chair and a pack and play. No gates though so watch your little ones closely. Everything was clean and cozy high recommend staying here”

“Chris communicated well throughout the process, and the home was a peaceful getaway. The pool is great, and if you want to fish or hike, Lake Livingston State Park is a few miles up the road. The city of Livingston isn’t far away, so it’s easy to grab a bite to eat or go shopping at a nearby store.”

“This was the perfect getaway for me and few veteran friends. We were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Unfortunately we couldn’t swim because it was cold on one of the days. But we enjoyed the backyard still. The house was comfortable easy to cook had all the utensils that you could think of.”

Entire house was extremely clean and well stocked. Very calm area and close to all of the outdoor activities we wanted. “We loved the fully furnished kitchen. We brought disposable plates & cups, but this place came with more than enough plating, cups & silverware. We cooked & used the outdoor grill daily. The home was supplied with everything we needed. Even a slow cooker & a blender. There was also a washer & dryer to use if needed. We had more than enough space & comfortable beds & pillows. We felt right at home. We hate we didn’t get to enjoy the pool since it was cool outside & the pool wasn’t heated, but we’ll be back when it’s warmer, if they’ll have us back 😊”

“Overall the stay was good. The main things that knocked down the rating was the lack of high speed internet and the lack of salt a pepper. I don’t expect a location to be stocked with spices but we really shouldn’t have to go and buy salt and pepper. Also, there was supposed to be 15 adults and the lack of coffee cups was annoying. Thankfully our whole party didn’t show up. The place was clean and a good place to hang out. The tv only sort of worked because the internet was slow. It was 5mb/sec at a good time. Plus they gave us the wrong network name and password. My kids were able to figure it out but we messaged them and it took 9 hours for them to respond as what to do. Enjoyed playing their uno card game. The stairs were narrow.”

“My family had a great time. A few bumbs but for the most part it was great. I love how fast they responded to everything.”

“Overall our stay was great. The home itself could really use some love. Some minor repairs/paint touch ups but nothing that kept us from enjoying our stay. There was a misunderstanding about the boat dock behind the house. It is owned by the marina and they do not offer covered dock rentals. Luckily the marina owner worked with us. They have uncovered tie up spots for $30 a night. Also there is no parking at the marina. You cannot pay to park any extra cars there overnight so do not count on that if you have more than 4 vehicles at your stay. Overall a great stay, great location & the pool was great! We would come back!”

“The lakehouse was perfect for 5 adults attending a family function in Livingston. It was easy to find and easy to navigate in and out of. A great restaurant was almost within walking distance which helped us weary travelers. It is showing some wear and tear, mainly the paint, living room furniture and cabinet fronts but it was clean and inviting so it worked out well for us. The pool and backyard were wonderfully relaxing.”
