Negative: The handrail on the stairs was very scary. Soft spot in the floor of the downstairs bedroom should be repaired. I saw the photos on line but the bushes were terribly overgrown. First impressions are important.”

“Worked perfect for what we needed. Only stayed one night to get on a cruise but had plenty of sleeping arrangements, clean bathrooms, and a washer and dryer. Close to the port and downtown. ”

“The location is super close to the seawall you can take 45th St Down or 53rd st.It was a 2 miles to Walmart and the property has very comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay and will book this house again in the near future. Stairs are a little steep for the upper floor but just hold on to the rail as you go down and you would have no problem.I liked that the master bedroom is downstairs because my mother had a hurt ankle and that room worked out perfect for her.The host was very easy to contact and responded pretty fast.Once again I do recommend this property. ”

“My husband was here for work for the week. Honestly it was in a very convenient location for everything. The host was very easy to get in contact with with any questions. The house was very clean. The only down side was the stairs being so steep. Be careful when descending from upstairs. All in all it was a great stay for us. Will consider again if in the area for work. ”

“This is a very cozy and pretty looking home. Its about 5 mins drive from the beach. The kitchen was nice and very clean. The layout of the house is very nice with one bedroom in the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. The parking is a lil tight but we were in a large vehicle.”

“The Green Brick House by Beach Box was extremely neat, spacious, and provided the amenities we needed on this quick trip to Galveston for family business. The location of the house was central to Broadway, The Strand, local restaurants, and easy access to the Seawall.The host was really responsive and created a vacation home with their guests' needs in mind. I would highly recommend for a convenient, comfortable and excellent stopover in Galveston.”

“The place was very clean, beds were comfortable. The place sleeps 10 people and we had 10 people but there was only enough silverware for 6 people and towels for 8. There were no extra blankets. All in all it was an enjoyable stay”

“The host is great, very easy to communicate with and fast to responding. We had an issue with hot water only lasting a handful of minutes and taking forever to heat back up. Going back to previous review’s it’s been an ongoing issue, but the host was very apologetic. Hopefully they resolve it. But other than that good location with tons of space. We had seven kids with us so I loved the amount of beds.”
