“Cool location. Was weird to have split living areas but also nice for the separation. The bed in the basement was directly below the air conditioner which turned on and off throughout the night and had a bright light making it difficult to sleep.”

“The house is big and clean. Love that it's right on the canal with a dock and outdoor shower. The ladder into the canal was very helpful. There was plenty of parking and amenities. Highly recommend this house--perfect for a family reunion!”

“We just went for a quick getaway and it was just as the doctor ordered. This place is beautiful and diverse. The host provided all the necessary details and more (like info on Galveston island). We slept comfortably and the community was quiet. Although there was a storm that rolled through, the house didn't shake or feel like it was swaying like I have experienced in other rentals. The host was wonderful from front to end so I will definitely stay here again!”

We had everything we needed, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Whether we were enjoying coffee in the morning, spending time on the beach, or relaxing together in the evenings, every moment felt special. Overall, we had an amazing stay and made some great memories. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a fantastic location.”

“The house was good for the weekend, the only things that stood out were the flooring all throughout the kitchen and living room. The planks were lifting and broken in places, and right at the back door was a big wooden board that was stabilizing the floor to the outside patio. Which was a little alarming but it was covered by a carpet, another thing is that a few of the blinds on a few windows in the living room were broken.”

“Overall things were good. A few minor things:1.The Hammock was in need of repair as the ropes were frayed and some were severed.2. No batteries in downstairs TV remote.3. The dishwasher had water backed up inside so we were reluctant to use it.”
