“We loved our stay here for our party of 9. This place has everything you need including spices and beach towels. Very clean and felt like home. The location and the views were spectacular! The patio and downstairs kitchen were perfect. The pictures represented this place well. We were hoping to check in early, but it was cheaper to add the night before to our reservation than to pay an extra $280 to check in before noon. We struggled to get the keys to get in, as the lockbox was mislabeled. Also, we had to wait to get the code to the downstairs kitchen until the morning after we checked in as the managing company told it was the same as the house key, but it was a keypad code. We regret paying the $100 for the pool access, as only 2 of us used it for less than an hour. We thought there was a hottub and there is not, it is a luke warm shallow pool. The boys found a local fishing charter at West End Marina bait shop. Beach is close in proximity and convenient. We will definitely be back”

“Positive: Location was great and house was clean. Negative: We arrived at 4:30 p.m. to find the air conditioning was not cooling the house. We immediately contacted the management company, and a technician arrived around 9:00 p.m. He vacuumed the condensate drain, but the temperature did not improve. By 11:00 p.m. the indoor temperature had only dropped one degree and was still between 84° and 87°. We requested an AC repair, an alternative place to stay, portable units, or a refund, but received no meaningful response. The next morning we were simply told that “maintenance had been informed.” We followed up every hour between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and received the same non-answer. At 1:00 p.m. the same technician (Bryce, who was kind and professional) returned but was unable to fix the unit, so he arranged for an HVAC company to come out. The AC technicians arrived at 3:00 p.m. and left by 3:30 p.m., stating they could not complete the repair that day. Around 5:00 p.m. Bryce finally delivered portable air-conditioning units. Portable units should have been provided as soon as it was clear the main system could not be fixed the first night. Instead, we spent more than 24 hours in a house that stayed between 80° and 87°, including an elderly aunt who has a heart condition. The rental cost $1,126 for two nights. The final night was more comfortable once the window units were running, but the management company’s slow response, poor communication, and failure to resolve the problem promptly were unacceptable. The issue should have been properly addressed on the first night.”

“The place itself was small, but nice. We had 7 people, all girls so two bathrooms was not enough for that crowd. I can’t imagine having 12 people. There was not enough toilet paper and towels for our crowd. Also there were no beach towels. Pool access was advertised, but there was no pool access. You needed a pool pass and there was none to be found in the house. Also the lock on the front door was impossible to lock. It was weird. I would recommend changing this to something more practical. We had to put a chair against it at night to secure it and I never was able to get it to lock when we went out. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was a peaceful and quiet place.”
