“We fell in love with this home! It was so cozy and clean and just perfect! There’s a single bedroom to the right when you first walk in, a bathroom to the left, with a very nice shower. The living room and kitchen have everything you need, while a cool spiral staircase leads up to a room with two beds, a couch and another tv- not to mention stairs that lead to yet another bed! Super spacious! The beach was in walking distance, so was the jetty. We are extremely satisfied, plus it was very affordable !”

“The home was exactly how it represented in the photos and Chris was VERY responsive as I had a lot of questions before checking and he was prompt, friendly, and informative for the entire visit!!!! The home is beautiful and in close proximity to the ocean so you can hear all the birds and the ocean which was my favorite part and there is only a part of a restricted view so I got see some of the ocean but I knew that per description. The AC and fans all worked great too! Only complaint is the water. It is horrible. It is light brown/yellow and has a pungent smell to it. We bought several gallons of water for coffee, drinking, and brushing our teeth. Our dogs wouldn’t even drink the tap water and we all felt dirtier after our showers than before we got in. It would have been nice to have had some extra blankets also for movie time on the couch with the family. If the water issue gets addressed, we would all 100% come and stay again. Chris was fabulous to work with.”

“Host was very responsive when we had a maintenance issue involving one of the kitchen cabinets. They came and fixed it same day. Beautiful home with everything we needed for our stay. Only thing I could even think to say is I wish we had a few more bathroom towels. That’s partially on me though because we had two kids and we didn’t bring any extra. I can’t wait to return back and thanks again for having our family!”

“The location and place was fantastic! The area is just a short walk from Surfside Beach and Galveston Beach is about 45 minutes away by driving. The house is adorable and is stocked with all the listed amenities and the firepit and deck were very enjoyable so close to the ocean. If you are planning on visiting on a week it will be raining, I would be very cautious of parking under the house, because the entire area flooded so I would recommend parking in the front driveway if there is a chance of heavy rain. But overall, the place was amazing!”

“The first thing I want to mention is the responsiveness of the host. Quick responses and clear instructions/directions. Second of all, check in was extremely easy and peaceful, the house was immaculate and perfectly described. I am so sad the trip is over and 90 percent of it was purely spent in the house. Great location as well I’ve always loved surf side but never knew it could be as much fun as me and my friends had. Comfortably held everyone I invited (6-8 people) and could easily hold more. Tons of plates, utensils, and cups etc. A great fire pit with lighter fluid provided as we forgot ours, an extremely comfortable bed, and well kept clean bathroom. I absolutely loved the trip and plan to use beachbox again. 11/10 stay!”

“Lovely little house and just like the pictures described. Some of the other reviews indicated a pest issue- that has since been resolved. There was absolutely no evidence of bugs at all!!! Yard was fully fenced. Located at the Seawall, but it was a quick 3-4 minute drive to get to a recreation area. Overall wonderful stay and great host communication.”
