“This is a nice home that overlooks a private beach access area. It does have two decks, but the gaps between the wood planks are pretty significant and a small book or a phone could easily fall through. Traffic noise is constant because of the road just to the north of the home. We felt it was a great value and beautiful view. Because the homes foundation has shitted overtime, there are issues with the doors: 1. The master bathroom does not close and can be pushed open, even if it is locked. 2. The upstairs patio door has a handle lock that is always engaged. It does not actually lock the door because it also can be pushed open and closed so a deadbolt is necessary. 3. When we first entered the home, I could see sunlight through the door on the north side of the main level. I think that is more of a weatherstripping issue. This home had the worst mosquitoes of any we had seen on the island.”

“When we arrived our first impression outside was not so good after comparing exterior look with the photos in AIRBNB, then considering is an old house and after getting inside, we changed our minds and concluded it was in really good condition for a house of this age. We realized a house in the beach is difficult to maintain and this one was well preserved. It is a good price-value choice. Chris did great at communicating all what we needed to know. The family enjoyed the place!”

“The place wasn’t terrible, we had some ants arrive in the kitchen, there were holes in the floor that were covered with plywood, and the master bedroom had broken blinds. Luckily the place was well set, lots of towels and beds, and the A/C was fantastic! Overall not a bad place, but I’m not entirely sure it was worth the price. The San Luis resort would have been cheaper.”

“The pictures did not reflect the actual house. The description states the backyard is fenced and the pictures show a fenced backyard, the backyard only has one side that’s actually fenced and the back is completely open to the busy street. I also had no idea when I booked this place that they would message my guests and require them to be verified, had I known I would have immediately cancelled.”
