Welcome to Far Harbor, a waterfront vacation home in Seabrook, Texas — the kind of easy-going coastal retreat that makes you forget just how close you still are to the big city. This 4-bed/3-bath home comfortably sleeps up to 15 guests and strikes the ideal balance of waterfront living, flexible sleeping arrangements, and classic Gulf Coast charm. Perfectly positioned on Galveston Bay just outside Houston, Far Harbor offers an easy escape without the long drive — a true waterfront reset within reach of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Kemah Boardwalk, and some of the best fishing and sailing waters in the state. Far Harbor is the perfect blend of waterfront comfort, bayside charm, and effortless Seabrook living.

The first floor opens into a bright, welcoming layout where the kitchen, dining, and living spaces come together in classic coastal-home style. The living room features a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, adding flexible sleeping space for the group when needed. Tucked onto this level is the first bedroom — a restful retreat with a queen-sized bed and its own private en-suite bathroom with shower, perfect for guests who prefer single-level living. Climb up to the second floor and the home opens up: three more bedrooms give everyone a spot to settle in and spread out. The second bedroom is a fun, flexible setup with a twin-over-queen bunk and a twin-over-twin bunk — enough thoughtful sleeping space for the whole younger crew. The third offers a comfortable queen, with a Jack-and-Jill full bathroom with tub shared between the second and third bedrooms. The fourth and final bedroom is the showstopper — a true primary suite featuring a king-sized bed, a queen sleeper sofa for added flexibility, and a spa-inspired en-suite bathroom complete with both a tub and a separate shower.

What makes Far Harbor special is its setting. Seabrook sits right at the edge of Galveston Bay, where the open water, sailboat masts, and salt-tinged breeze paint a backdrop that feels both lively and relaxed. Spend your days on the water, cast a line for redfish and speckled trout, or set out to explore the easygoing waterfront charm of the surrounding Clear Lake area. The Kemah Boardwalk is just a short drive away for waterfront dining, amusement rides, and family-friendly entertainment, while NASA’s Johnson Space Center brings a dose of history and wonder for guests looking to shake up the vacation routine. For a day on the coast, Galveston Island’s beaches, the historic Strand District, and Moody Gardens are all within easy driving distance. Whether you’re planning a weekend of fishing and boating, a family trip with easy access to attractions, or a quiet waterfront escape close to Houston, Far Harbor delivers a stay that feels a world away without being one.
