“Amazing home, great location, and so close to the beach. We took our 2 young children (4 and 7) and they had a blast! The property was clean and well maintained aside from a few things (shower curtain and rings were stained/rusted, toilet seat had some damage, broken sliding door screen left on the porch, rusted door knobs). There was no washer/dryer so we just hung our wet beach clothes to dry. Beds were comfy and clean. We are definitely going to stay here again!”

“We had such a wonderful stay at this beach house! The home was warm, cozy, and extremely clean from the moment we arrived. One of our favorite parts was how close it was to the beach — just steps away, which made everything so relaxing and convenient. It was also only about 15 minutes from the Seawall, so the location was perfect for enjoying everything the area has to offer. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for the perfect beach vacation getaway!”

“This house is great value for the money. It is attractive with a great location. Positive: Kitchen was well appointed. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was great, very close to the beach. The house is very spacious. The bathroom was also very functional. Negative: Several outside lights didn’t work, specifically the ones downstairs.”

“This place was a perfect getaway for our family of 5 over Easter weekend! It was beautifully decorated, clean, with so many windows, the place seemed airy and well lit throughout the day. Our 3 preteen girls reconnected rooming together and loved the proximity of the beach to the cottage. The view of the beach from our balcony was beautiful wake up to. It was such a convenient location, with a quaint grocery store and gas station less than 1/2 a mile down the street. We would highly recommend staying here for a short stay or even a longer one. We will definitely revisit for a longer stay next time. ”

“Positive: I loved the location, beach access in a quiet place, it was clean, and a simple 20 min drive to Galveston. I loved that we had a big porch that faced the beach, and although there were a couple homes in front of us, we could still hear the waves, and see some of the sand from the porch. Great sipping porch! I enjoyed having a full kitchen with all the necessary things. We both enjoyed the large couch, and cozy decorations. Negative: There was little not to like, perhaps the only thing was at the time the light didn't come on, nor could we find the light switch, or perhaps it wasn't working, for the carport/perking below the house. But there was light enough around that we weren't in pitch black so honestly, it's a mild dislike.”

“My husband and I and our dogs had a beautiful winter getaway at StayBeachBox’s house with ocean views! The winter season provided the perfect amount of privacy and peacefulness and the house was situated perfectly for quick beach access. We would definitely come back!”

“Relaxing and enjoyable saty. Positive: The lock box was a bit hard to open, but it finally worked after four or five tries. Negative: I brought my dog who loves to swim. The shower was a trickle so barely worked and there was no hose to wash my dog off. I actually used the neighbor's hose so I did not bring sand into the house.”

“The house has no water hose, no broom and no washer and dryer. This made it hard to keep clean on a beach trip. Everything else was fine. I was a little disappointed because it was a more expensive home.”
