“Relaxing beach house in a quiet neighborhood on the west end of Galveston Island. We enjoyed our stay!”

“We had such a great stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our whole family to enjoy. We especially loved the outdoor area — we spent so much time outside, were able to go fishing, and really made the most of the space. The kids were incredibly happy and had so much fun throughout the entire stay. Some things in the house are a little older, but that honestly didn’t bother us at all. We were looking for a comfortable place where we could relax, spend quality time together as a family, and enjoy ourselves, and this house was perfect for that. We made beautiful memories here and would definitely love to come back.”

“Our family really enjoyed the pool and fishing in the property. We took our pets they enjoyed the back yard as-well, really friendly neighbors with Dogs as-well. The house/ furniture needs some TLC some up keep for a rental property. We also enjoyed making s’mores with our kids in the fire pit area next to the canal. We have an overall a good stay.”

“We felt right at home here. It’s a well loved beach house. The layout was great. The kids and the bunk beds being on one side of the house, and adults on the other side. Kitchen was great. We were able to cook brunch and it was stoked with the necessities. The backyard was wonderful. Kids fished off the back, roasted s’mores, and jumped in the pool to cool off. There’s a beautiful public beach access just across the neighborhood where we enjoyed an amazing sunset. We did not use the downstairs game room/bedroom so we cannot speak on it, but it looked very nice! The beds were comfy and the couches are huge. We were all able to sit in the living room and play some board games. Theres plenty of parking, and nice neighbors. Theres a guy across the canal to the left that offers boat tours! Theres a couple of convenience stores near by that had we were grateful for. They had what we needed, but you pay a premium. So make sure to stop into Walmart or Kroger for most of the things. 10/10!”

“The first Airbnb we got wasn’t prepared for my family, there was some communication problems with the cleaners so the host put my family in an even nicer Airbnb with no charge! They told ownership and made it right and my family couldn’t be happier!”

“We had a great time here. This house can fit a lot of people. The pool was great we loved the set up down stairs due to the easy access to the pool and BBQ pit. We even caught a small red and a keeper trout from the canal”

“The place was beautiful! The pool was amazing and the place has a great dock for fishing! The bottom room is a little dark and away from the main house but it was still fun! We loved the house and it was very clean! Wanted to book for another day but it was booked! Loved the house!”

“The house was exactly as advertised and was clean when we arrived. The accommodations were great. I was a little disappointed that there were no paddle boards or kayaks to get into the water, that would have been a fun time. The pool was perfect and next time I will know to bring floats and a volleyball net. With all that being said I would recommend this property and would go back.”

“A comfortable and well-kept place with a very responsive host. There are few minor issues, 1st - the bathroom door (1st floor) is unable to close, 2nd - the Wi-Fi was a little slow at times. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!”

“My family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everything about this place is very welcoming. We all slept very comfortably, the house stayed cool throughout the night, the outdoor area was simply breath taking and relaxing for my family. So much so went most of our time outside in the pool, fishing, or cooking something on the pit. I highly recommend renting this house for anyone looking for a nice home on the canal with beach access directly across from the neighborhood”

“The host was very responsive! Awesome pool! The house has 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, dining room, amd living room upstairs. There's a balcony upstairs in the front and back of the house. A covered back porch. Then downstairs it has a game room with a mini kitchen, bed, bathroom, and a couple of small sofas. An outdoor shower by the pool. The house is on a canal off Chocolate Bay on the far west end of the island. Quick drive to Terramar beach and down to San Luis Pass too. Found great seashells at both places! Takes just under 30 mins to get down to Galveston seawall for some yummy seafood!”

Avisamos al anfitrión, pero durante nuestra estancia no fue limpiada, lo cual fue decepcionante ya que es una de las principales amenidades. En general, el lugar es agradable, pero sería importante mejorar el mantenimiento y la atención a este tipo de detalles.”

“We stayed Monday through Thursday with friends and had a wonderful time. The canal location was perfect. The parents fished in the backyard while the kids swam in the pool. It was peaceful, quiet, and just a one minute drive to the beach.The house was clean and comfortable, with a little normal wear and tear. The listing photos made it look slightly nicer than in person, but everything was still in good shape and we enjoyed our stay. The pool was the highlight for the kids, and a sunshade would make it even better for midday swims.The downstairs area has its own kitchen and beds, which was great for extra space, though it stayed a bit warm. The host was kind, responsive, and easy to work with.Overall, it was a great setup for families. We would definitely come back for another relaxing getaway.”

“The house was perfect for our families with kids. So much to do with it being on the canal, having a pool, and arcade games. Beach access is super close. All the kitchen necessities are provided and plenty of them. We had 7 adults and 6 kids and we had more than enough room for everyone. ”

“This was the perfect getaway spot for our group! The dual kitchens were incredibly helpful for prepping meals, and the spacious layout gave everyone room to spread out. The pool was amazing (we swam every day) and the firepit was great for evenings. It’s tucked away in a quiet area, but still close enough for food delivery and a quick beach drive. A couple details could use some fine-tuning, but overall it was a fantastic stay.”
