“We had a great stay! Everything was wonderful, from the location to the hospitality. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The only issue we had was that the dryer wasn’t drying completely, but she was very prompt about trying to get it fixed or sending someone out if needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this Airbnb! ❤️”

“Fantastic Spot for families”

“We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! One thing to note is that one bedroom is downstairs- with completely separate access compared to the other three rooms. One bedroom upstairs seemed to be warmer than the other two. Some wear noted on the mattresses. Definitely needs a deep clean including air filter change and cleaning. Dryer vent needs cleaning badly. Dishwasher has a terrible smell when opened. But overall, everything was great! The property had everything we needed and it was very nice!”

“BeachBox stay was definitely a win for the weekend! Jessica was a consummate host from start-to-finish providing excellent service when needed and optimal communication. Regarding the Airbnb it was genuinely nice to come back to a calm, comfortable and well-prepared space that felt like home. The setting it self was fabulous w’ the beach in walking distance but with the pool on-site it made it even better! We are looking forward to checking out other Beach Box properties and recommending to others.”

“We’ve stayed here twice and really enjoy it! It’s close to beach, a really fun and good restaurant/bar The West End Marina, and a cute little store called The Seven Seas. We also like that it’s away from the main busy touristy area.”

“Overall great place to stay! Only thing was that since it was rainy, the patio floor was full of water puddles, as well as the ping pong table. Also the grill was too rusty.”

“We enjoyed our week in Galvy despite the sargassum. There was plenty of space in the home and the downstairs patio. The kiddos enjoyed the cowboy pool and our evening walks to the neighborhood park. The upstairs bedroom with the bunks had somewhat of a pungent smell but it could be that it was the was the only room with carpet. Other than that our stay was comfortable.”

“Everything at the house was exactly as described. We only wish that it would not have been so cold so we could get in the cowboy pool. The ping-pong table was a hit. I would definitely stay here again.”

“It was a little further from Galveston than we thought but still only a 20 min drive. It was a quick walk to the beach, which is why we were really there! There was a pier for fishing on the harbor side not far from the Airbnb and key provided to get onto the pier. The house was clean, nice and open, nice deck and enclosed back yard with games and a sink, table, etc. We had issues with water for a day but Jessica was on top of it and sent people out to get it fixed asap. Great vacation!”

We were going to bring pets and didn't at the last minute, and she returned the pet fee immediately. we mentioned to her the few things that needed repair or fixing and she promised she would have someone out to do said repairs quickly. We were not totally aware (maybe hadn't read well) that the fourth bedroom was below on street level. But that was ok in our case. Like a private room for me (grandma). It all worked out. So much fun for kids with ping pong table and mini pool.”

“The house was in a beautiful neighborhood, you can see the ocean from the porch, close to public beach access and was super clean. It was fun for the kids, we all enjoyed the cowboy pool, swing chairs and ping pong table. The outdoor shower was nice to have also! Jessica was super responsive and helpful. We had a great time and recommend this house! one of my favorite airbnbs so far!!”

“Overall the house was great for 3/4 families with kids. The location to the beach was perfect -- very close. The "Cowboy" pool is perfect for kids 6 and under. The outdoor kitchen area downstairs would be really nice if it was a bit cooler. Communication with the owner/manager was easy and instructions were clear. The house could use some touch ups is my only gripe. 4.5/5 stars”

“This was a beautiful beach house! We loved the large kitchen space and the cowboy pool was amazing to take a dip in after being in the sun all day. The only disappointment was that the hammock chairs were moldy and the ping pong table was unusable - a broken net and all the paddles were warped and split in half. It’s a location that gets a lot of rain, I think they need to bring in cushions and wooden paddles inside when it rains - I don’t think any of it is neglect to cleanliness, the place was very clean! We would absolutely stay here again, just, if you love ping pong like we do, ask ahead if they have fixed it”
