“Overall great house. Inside looked like the pictures and the location/view was great. The outside left a lot to be desired, though. The path to the beach was overgrown and the downstairs was swarming with mosquitos. Plus there was a very pungent smell coming from the trash. It looked like the cans had not been set out in quite some time.”

“We've rented three times in Galveston over the last four years and this property is #1 in the most liked category for my wife, son, and myself. This location is spectacular in regards to beach and town proximity/access. I've seen other reviewers complain a little about the trail that leads to the beach but in my opinion, it adds a nice charm when going and returning from the beach, plus, rabbits live in the brush and come out in the evening!! The window units in the north bedrooms made that side of the house our favorite, I love white noise and the supplemental cool air on top of the central AC. It's something we do in our own home. I've never slept better and more consistently on any other vacation in my life. It was also amazing to wake up, look out any of the three balcony windows and see the ocean directly in front of me. We really loved our time here, would 1000% seek to stay again in the future.”

“This beach house is right on the water! I’ve stayed at Bermuda Beach before at a similar house and this one was even closer to the beach! There’s a path that’s a little overgrown and you do need shoes to avoid stickers, but the view from the porch is simply devine and a short walk from the house. We were slightly terrified by a flying cockroach in the house on our first night, but he was quickly dealt with a became a funny memory of the trip. Would definitely book again!”

“Nice property, great location. Quiet area. Great for our family trip. House was well equipped and comfortable. Host was responsive to text messages. Had one issue, full outside trashcans that created a smell and fly issue. they were responsive and apologetic, but the 'trash team' didn't show up till our last day there. We were able to relocate the cans and resolve the immediate impacts. One of our party left some items in one of the BR closets. They were very responsive, located the items and facilitated shipping them back to us. Overall, a positive experience in a nice property. Hosts were responsive and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely look at again for a return visit.”

“Our family had a wonderful time here. Plenty of room for us to all have our own space and congregate together in the living area. The view is amazing and you are steps from the water. Close to town so you can run back-and-forth. There is a wonderful kitchen, but no pots and pans so if you want to cook, bring your own. We only had snacks and mostly ate out so it didn’t matter to us. We loved this home and we will be booking again.”

“We absolutely loved our stay! The location is unbeatable, right on the beach but second row, so it feels private and peaceful with no cars allowed on this stretch, never crowded! Our favorite feature was the back porch. With 3 sliding glass doors opening from 2 bedrooms and the living area, you can let the ocean breeze flow right through the house. The porch is protected from the wind and stayed comfortable since the house is slightly set back. I could sit out there, relax, and easily watch the kids play. The house is comfortable and ideal for a beach trip with cozy beds, outdoor shower, dog-friendly, and not overly fancy where you feel like you can’t touch anything, but just right for truly settling in. We also appreciated that essentials like toilet paper and dish soap were provided. The only downside was the kitchen because it was a bit understocked (not enough bowls, pans, etc…) so cooking was a challenge. Just a short 10m drive to shops and restaurants. We’d definitely come back!”

The home was spacious and I love that 2 bedrooms were on each side of the house, it felt very private. We absolutely loved being able to sit on the deck each morning and enjoy a gorgeous ocean view. Everything was as we hoped and more. The owners were easy to contact and friendly. If you were looking to be at a great location with a beautiful view, this is the home for you!”

“Loved the Vaulted Ceiling & Triangular Windows that allowed You to enjoy sunrise & sunset. Also loved that the Home sat in “EYE VIEW” of Beach & nothing blocking it. We also loved that the Home had 2 Bedrooms & Living Room facing the Beach with the option of sliding glass windows to where you could open them in the morning & have a nice cup of coffee. Beautiful Views! Nice quaint Neighborhood. Loved all of it & Would Rent again. Bonus Perks to the Beach Box Team for always being available by Phone to address any matters We had. They were Amazing! ”

“The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. If you come around summer time we just recommend mosquito spray to make it easier to enjoy as they were a little relentless during our stay but mosquito spray was a big help. The nearby shrubbery also has A LOT of prickly stickers so be careful if you are walking around outside as you will probably drag a lot of them back to the home and then continue to find them on your clothing. Despite these two things, the stay was great and just what we needed for a beach trip.”

“Pros: We had a great time. House was clean (cleaner than many other places we have stayed at). View was awesome. Easy access to beach. Pictures on website are accurate. Enough toilet paper. Water pressure was great (previous reviewers complained about these last items). Property manager responded quickly.Cons: kitchen was not well stocked with pot/pans/ bowls / knives etc. they probably would have brought us some if we had asked but we did not. I definitely recommend this house and would rent again.”

“My family and I had a great stay! The house was very spacious for the adults and the kids. The view was beautiful! It’s something you have to see with your own eyes in order to believe! I’d have to say that the only minor issue we had was having to start the dryer a few times in order to completely dry our clothes. Also in one of the rooms the t.v was unavailable due to WiFi issues. Great stay overall!”
