“This is our second time in 4 months staying at this property, and it never disappoints. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a beach vacation. The house is a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood is always quiet, even during a peak travel week. The house has things like a washer and dryer, high chair, and other useful amenities when traveling with children. There are lots of great restaurants close by as well. We are looking forward to our next stay here already! ”

The only thing that was missing was a pool (LOL) Also on the downside the sofa lounger is very worn, and needs replacing or upholstered to build the cushion up. Lastly there needs to be televisions in all the bedrooms. Kids love to be in their own space to watch or play their games.”

“Cake By The Ocean was a great for our needs. Our group of 16 really loved the stay. Very roomie extra large Livingroom. Can sleep 22 on beds Well stocked kitchen. Gas stove that cooked well! Walkable to beach in a VERY clean newer neighborhood. Outdoor seating. Crazy great price in Winter! Everything was in working order. Manager was very responsive and kind. Notes for guest planning: Amenities were bare bones. Zero "extras" 1 towel per/person only. No extra towels. No extra blankets (beds had sheet and quilt only). No floor fan. Only a sliver of a bar of soap per bathroom. I fully used 1 bar on 3 hand washes. No screens windows, can't keep bugs out if opened for breeze. VERY low water flow in showers. No drapes on glass bedroom doors, so full sun at 7am in bedrooms. That sort of things. Clean enough, but overall needs freshening. Mattresses are basically sleeping mats, not real mattresses.”

We also enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and walked there several times. In addition, there were plenty of towels and bedding, which felt clean and fresh.
