“We needed to fit 18 people, including quite a few kids, into an Air BnB, and the setup here was perfect. There are tons of beds, and the kids really enjoyed the bunks. The public gathering areas were spacious. Neighborhood/proximity to beach are fantastic, especially for the price. Kitchen is surprisingly well equipped, especially with small appliances like waffle iron and blender. We had a couple of small issues: the front door lock is peculiar, so be sure to read the posted instructions. You also need to pull it all the way closed while locking. The cleaners appeared to have cut some corners--we found a fair bit of hair, a lost toy, etc., when we moved in. The biggest issue for me was a strong musty smell in some parts of the house. This is typical for Galveston, where hurricanes blow through and soak everything every few years, but it could be an issue for someone with sensitive allergies. All in all, we had a great time and would rent again. The space-location-price were ideal!”

“This was a fantastic place for our extended family to stay for Memorial Day weekend! We had a great time in the beach house. It had plenty of space for everyone. The living area is spacious and the balconies were enjoyable. The house was very clean, except for the floors. Even upon our arrival, if you walked barefoot, your feet would get quite dirty. Maybe that’s just how it goes with any beach house. A few things to note for anyone staying here in the future/some easy fixes that could be made: - two of the bathrooms are very cramped, so just be prepared for that. The pictures make them look bigger than they are. - only one kitchen towel provided, so bring extras! - no hot pads in the kitchen! - most Airbnbs we’ve stayed at have board games, this one didn’t, so bring your own! - the photos in the listing are slightly outdated, now the house is a pretty blue color. Also, there are newer houses closely surrounding it now. This was a beautiful home! Made lots of memories!”

“I absolutely adore everything about this house !!! it’s a less than 10 minute walk from the beach because there’s a private access entrance in the neighborhood you’re staying! If I could give this 4.5 stars, I would the only reason for the four star rating is because out of having 13 beds I didn’t find any of them comfortable enough and chose to sleep on the couch(they weren’t uncomfortable, but the couch was more comfortable.) That being said, the blankets are so nice and comfortable, and the pillows don’t move around in the middle of the night! I felt so incredibly fancy and will absolutely be back again !!!”

“We stayed three nights with two families (9 people total) and overall had a great trip. The layout worked well and everyone had their own space. The beach access is excellent and the beach itself was fantastic — clean, easy to get to, and no cars allowed. It’s also close to good restaurants while still being easy to get away from the Spring Break traffic. The house itself could use some updating. The interior feels a bit tired — the sectional couch, mattresses, kitchen cabinets, and linens have seen better days. The A/C was limited to 71°, which made nights a little warm. Homes are very close together, and our neighbors partied late all three nights, so noise carried easily. The house also backs up to the highway, though traffic noise wasn’t too noticeable. Overall it looks like it was once a really nice beach house and just needs some TLC. Even with the issues, we had a great time because the beach and location are excellent.”

The house has things like a washer and dryer, high chair, and other useful amenities when traveling with children. There are lots of great restaurants close by as well.
