“pool was very clean, we had to book it last minute same day as we got back from our cruise and was going to have bad severe weather on travels home so had to find a last min property to book for our large group of 9 was able to get it booked at 9 am and was able to check in at 4pm. Was very peaceful and quite had plenty of room for parking a dually pickup and 250 duramx with lifted truck with no problems! would definitely stay again!”

“My family stayed here the night before we departed on a cruise. There were eight of us ranging from four years old to 70. It was nice and open with great size allowing our family to enjoy each other, but not be on top of each other. It made me wish that my vacation was at the beach in this home for the whole week rather than leaving for a cruise. I can assure you that it is on our list to come back to for any cruise that we depart from Galveston, as well as future vacations on the island as well.”

“The house was situated in a relatively quiet neighborhood, away from the busy areas of the island, which was a plus. The host was very responsive, and the check-in instructions were clear. At check-in, the house appeared clean and fine; however, it soon became apparent that the house was essentially a shack that had been extensively renovated. The beds were too soft, the water pressure was minimal, and the temperature in each bedroom varied: two were toasty while the others were freezing. We've even spotted multiple roaches on the kitchen counter and bathroom ceiling. The house's quality and style, along with its amenities, may attract younger budget-conscious guests. However, I would prefer to pay more for a better place during my next visit to the island.”

“My family stayed for short Thanksgiving Vaca, and it was a great amount of space for us. The beds were very comfortable and there was ample towels for all 9 of us. The only issue was the ventilation in the kitchen. Because it's not vented to the outside, when we tried to bake anything, it caused the smoke alarm to keep going off, constantly. But if you don't plan on baking, then you will be fine. And also their is a construction project right next door, and they start early in the morning, so just be aware. Overall my family liked the house. We would consider staying here again.”

“Stayed with some friends, we had a really good time, property was clean, safe and convenient. Everything needed was provided, plenty of room to enjoy our time there. Though we know Texas and it’s summer mosquitos are relentless, that was our only complaint, it was hard to enjoy the outdoors/pool after nightfall. ”

“The place is pretty nice if you don't count the broken floors in hallway/kitchen and the wall mold by the bathtub. If those were fixed this would be a great place. comfortable beds and clean linens. Fabulous pool and deck area! great location!! I would stay here again, especially if fixed!”

“Overall a great place to stay. There was a problem with A/C in the middle of the night, but maintenance was there the next morning and fixed it. That is something that cannot be controlled. The only real issue we had was the kitchen floor. It’s coming apart and we had to try to keep a 1 year old who isn’t walking yet from crawling on it. Which was not easy. Perfect location, close to beach and away from the crowds. ”

“The floors are swollen and pulling up in the kitchen hen and bedroom. There is obvious water damage and my kids tripped multiple times. I reached out and the owner said a maintenance person was coming. No one came. Also the facet pulled out of the wall in the shower. I sent them photos. Customers expect Airbnbs to be and have baselines like working floors that are safe and not water logged and falling apart.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The property was in a good location and a very quick drive to majority of attractions and restaurants. The pool was a huge hit with our kids! I would note that the home does not have any dressers, so somewhat inconvenient for a longer stay. ”

“The property was in a good location. Communication with host was great. The furniture was made cheap and I worried my 150 13 year old boy was going to break the bed just getting in normal. This seems to be the consensus on several VRBOs though. The property could have been a little cleaner but might be due to being in a beach town with salty air. Over all we enjoyed our stay. ”

“Hello! The home was easy to find, clean and had everything we needed for overnight lodging for our cruise vacation. Our only real complaint was that when we opened the front door when arriving there was a strong musty odor like the house had been closed up for a while. After airring things out it was better.”
