“Outside inside was really nice looked like a brand new driveway when I opened the front door I went wow exclamation point the whole place has been renovated. It was very clean. The bathrooms were very updated. I would recommend this place even though it’s about a 25 minute drive to the seawall and Galveston this place is worth it plus there is the West End Marina, which is 5+ minutes away if you wanna get away from the hotel stay this is the place also it’s a number of people they are number of activities right on the property. That’ll keep you busy and the deck is very good. Wide open spacious great views. I will do it again at the same place”

“Very cute house close to some bleach areas that are not as busy as the main area in Galveston. This house is about 25-30 minutes outside of the business area, so come prepared- and with bug spray for the mosquitos. Not many extras such as shampoo ( a hotel sized bottle) so that is helpful to bring too. We had a great time and would come again - just some tips for the next person! We also so the famous ghost wolves (coyotes) of Galveston on the street when we came in during the evening- I though that was a treat- but if wildlife scares you just an fyi!”

“The stay was great! Very clean when we walked in you can smell how clean the house was. We had a pack in play and high chair provided for our stay. When I did have an issue the host did call me to make sure we were well taken care of! Great place for small family's.”

“We came to Galveston for a celebration of life. The house was close to our friends & venue. I loved that it was 2 master bedrooms. The house was clean & a/c was great. We paid a deposit to bring a dog but changed our mind & they did refund the deposit. Lastly, we were offered a $99 night add on to the front and/or back of reservation. We were not able to take advantage of either but we were arriving a bit early. I asked for an early entry to the house &I was only offered a prorated amount. $66 for 1hour early, $101 for 2hours early etc. I have never encountered this at any house / hotel we have stayed at. I feel like if no one is there & the house is clean, why not give the entry code early? They asked to be notified if we left early so they could clean, but couldn’t let us in early? Bad policy”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! The property was very clean and in great condition. The kitchen is VERY well-stocked with utensils, cooking appliances, and tools you may need to cook. There’s plenty of linens, pillows, and towels available. Adjusting the AC was easy as well. There’s plenty of public beach accesses that you can get to within a short drive of the property. However, if you plan on going to the strand or downtown Galveston a lot, expect a bit of driving. For the value of the property, we gladly made the drive. The hosts were super responsive but at times it did feel like we were talking with different people as we would receive varying answers on the same question we were told to check back on. However, the hosts are still very accommodating and friendly so this is a five star stay for us.”

I also liked that there was plenty of space to sit and relax, both on the balcony and downstairs, as well as the area by the fire. The location was good and not too far from the beach. However, I think the cleaning could have been a little better. It wasn’t extremely dirty, but we noticed some dust in a few rooms, a little sand on the tables and chairs, and some trash near the beds. I had seen many reviews saying that the house was very clean, so I was a little surprised that it didn’t feel completely clean when we arrived. We also traveled from quite far away. We didn’t expect to be able to check in early, and we understood that early check-in could have an additional cost. We simply reached out to ask, hoping there might be some flexibility.
