“My son and I were in town for a beach soccer tourney and really didn't get to spend a lot of time at the property, but it was clean, cozy, and had everything we could have needed for our short stay. And the super close proximity to the beach (right across the street) was nice as well. The hosts communicated thoroughly.”

“The host were very nice however for the price the place needs some work. It’s a studio type setup. No oven and the 2 burners that are there barely work. The shower is tiny and you can barely move around and its leaks. The front door has a gap at the bottom and water and wind come in which has caused a soft spot infront of the door. The front doors lock also gets stuck. We almost had to call for help to get out! It is very hard to turn even with the key and I was scared I was going to break the key off in the lock.”

“If it’s just a place to sleep you’re looking for then this is perfect! The only major complaint I had was that the shower did not have any cold water so that really sucked for us. And opening the lockbox for the key was a struggle. But other than that the place was fine we didn’t spend too much time in it other than to shower and sleep.”

“I did enjoy my trip to StayBeachBox’s unit. I stayed one night and had no issues with anything on the inside. Only problems I ran into were that 1: the people below me had dogs that barked ALL DAY/NIGHT and were extremely annoying. 2: the parking is certainly annoying, as the spots are very small and have different elevation levels which may damage the bottom of smaller cars. I came back to someone in my spot as well, and was just told to use a different one.”

“Decent, but the small things do matter... Positive: I liked the quickness of collecting the key for entry and not having to wait on someone to show up to provide this. My only setback about it is the code that was provided for entry, is also seen on the possible spare box under the walkway railing. That seems a bit alarming to a traveler. I should feel comfort and not on edge knowing that my code was visible like that. Especially knowing that there were other tenants at this location, even before I got there. You never know if someone knows the "system you have" in place to set cameras are anything miscellaneous in your unit. It's unclear and not my needing of knowing why the code is seen there, however what if I stored the keys there after my departures for security of not losing it until my re-entry. At that point anyone that sees the extra box will gain access if tempted to check the saved code. I remembered the code and changed it on the spare box just for clarity and changed it back at check out. I loved the view, the privacy, and the convenience. Negative: Of course you have not much control on settlement to a property. However, there is almost forced entry to open the door, and it seems to then get lodged in place somehow. The lock on the door isn't the best, it takes forever to unlock and lock the door. Unsure if this is due to unevenness and/or wear/tear. Upon entry the area looks the same as seen in photos. Nice space, quiet area, and great view. The parking can get a bit tricky due to the spots being so close and people not properly parking correctly. Could easily end up with unnecessary door dings or scratches due to this. For my whole time at the location, I wondered where the bedding material for the pull-out bed was. I found it on the last day during my clean up lol. Just glad I didn't go out and purchase bedding material for the weekend stay. This is no disrespect and a logical review being given for your betterment, the couch itself may need a deep cleaning just based on the coloring and overall standing of the couch. It could come off as a bit worn. All the curtains appear to be dated and faded. The bathroom curtain specifically needs to be cleaned and or changed. The bathroom itself is a bit tight; however, this is considerate for the size of the unit. The sink in the bathroom needs to be remounted as it appeared to come up once leaned on slightly. The wall towel rack needs to be re-installed as it is not installed properly, or the spot itself is worn from usage over time. There was a filthy mop in the kitchen area that should've been taken with the cleaners or cleaned and stored more properly. There was no broom or bucket for a mop being present only. Which leads you to ask "Is cleaning occurring out of the kitchen sink? ". I have no complaints for the kitchenette. The keychain is damaged for the holding of keys. Lastly, the review/house rules paper has been damaged from possibly humidity. Overall decent stay, but the small things also matter.”

“Unfortunately, the apartment was disappointing. The furniture was very old, and the overall equipment was very basic. There wasn’t even a wardrobe to store clothes. The cooktop was broken when we arrived, but after we reported it, it was replaced, which was appreciated. However, there was no toilet brush, which I found unhygienic. The Wi-Fi was also very unstable, and despite reporting the issue, nothing was done to fix it during our stay. Overall, I don’t think the apartment offers good value for money, and I would not recommend it.”

“The place is an efficiency room. Advised the TV was not working, it only internet connected and their internet failed. Could not connect at all. Nothing was done to fix it, and I had 2 children. Not worth 190 $ there many rules and regulations. Very dissatisfied but made the best of our stay. The place is for sale. They were very aware I had 2 young children. I locked the girls while going outside and could not get back in the room. horrible experience. after many minutes of trying finally got in. the lock is loose or not tightened enough.”

“The beach view was great. Walked to some surrounding areas. A can of paint was found on the kitchen counter and a screw was found on the floor. There was not enough towels and washcloths provided. ”

“Pros: Good area with a lot of places to walk to (Beach, restaurants). Bed was comfortable and they had pots, dishes, coffee, salt, and pepper. AC worked great, good Beach views. Cons: Only one parking spot that was frequently used by other tenants, nothing we could really do about it other than use someone else's spot. No cold water at any faucet nor in the shower; messaged host but never received a fix. Somewhat dusty and shaved hairs in restroom when we arrived (seems like they do basic cleaning, not so much deep cleaning). Good place if you're on a budget; much nicer than a budget hotel FOR SURE”
