“We had such a wonderful stay at this property! The view was absolutely indescribable ..sooo beautiful and even better in person!!. We loved being able to use the neighborhood boardwalk for easy access to the beach. All of our needs were met, and our host was incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!”

“Wonderful beachside property! We loved the spacious patio and balconies on the 2nd and 3rd levels—perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. Kitchen was very well stocked with a toaster, air fryer, and many kitchen and pantry essentials for cooking. Host was incredibly responsive and checked on us regularly. I couldn’t have asked for more. This was maybe a 4-5 minute walk across the sea dune bridge straight to the beach. Seriously—book this immediately before it’s gone.”

“We love Pointe West, the easy beach access and views! Great house! Positive: We loved the neighborhood, location, and views. Negative: The code given didn't let us in. We had to call and get in another way. It took over an hour to get into the property. No beach towels provided. Not enough bath towels. Dishwasher didn't work at first, one of our guests repaired it.”

“Had an amazing time staying at this beach house! The ocean views were beautiful, and the beach was only a 5-minute walk away. Even when it rained, we were still able to relax on the covered patio and enjoy spending time together. Will definitely be staying here again!”

“Relaxing and comfortable stay at the beach! Positive: The house and location are great, and the fee is very reasonable. The house is very comfortable, furnishings are nice, and the view is terrific. We will definitely consider staying here the next time we're in Galveston. Negative: The lock control mechanism operation was not intuitively obvious to me. You might consider giving a few tips. For example, the keypad does not illuminate until it is touched; HOWEVER, wherever you touch the keypad is considered the first entry for the 4-digit code. It took several attempts to figure that out. The next door neighbors (I think they're renovating their house) had their very bright back porch lights (all 3 levels) on 24/7 which was a little bit of an annoyance at night - just a minor issue.”

“Nice location good layout. House was very clean, although it had a lot of deferred maintenance items (cannot set A/C lower than 70 or else coil would freeze, old carpet on stairs, needs full interior repaint, dishwasher broken). Despite those shortcomings I would stay again!”

“House was a described. Rental company was responsive but a bit comical. The asked us if we would like to rent the home for an extra night at $225; I had turned it down. Then proceeded to ask if I would like a checkout. I advised I was interested. The rental company came back stating for I could get a late checkout of one extra hour for $215!! In addition we had trouble getting into the home. The code was incorrect on all lock boxes and had to reach out to get another code. Then when going to purchase wrist bands for Property amenities the beach club did not have our reservation on file which took a bit of time to get straightened out.”

“The house is nice inside and outside. The home’s location on the front row view of the Gulf of Mexico is beautiful. However there were several issues we had to resolve as renters which interrupted our family vacation. Beach Box did respond to help resolve those and provided a refund to makeup for those disruptions. I will consider renting the property again once a few issues are addressed.”
