“A great rental property for a vacation. It was very clean and only about 2 blocks from the ocean. The ocean had pretty clear water with white sand not crowded at all on weekdays but very buisy on weekends. Great place.”

“The perfect rental for our stay at Surfside Beach. The Host is very friendly and made sure we were happy and comfortable. The house was super clean and being pet friendly was a plus. It is also the perfect location to the beach and bay, as well as many wonderful restaurants were nearby. There is an upper deck with an amazing view for watching sunsets! Definitely recommend!”

“Great access to all of the fishing spots. Plenty of room for the family. Host was very helpful and responsive. House was clean and had all of the basic necessities. The only negative is the water has a smell (host was very informative and helpful with this). Make sure you bring plenty of water to cook with. Overall very good stay for the price!”

“The back bathroom always had a smell. The outside shower was broke. We fixed it 3 times enough to use a little. There was a broken canopy someone left behind. The house itself was clean and fine. On the most part had a good time.”

“We enjoyed our stay there, within less than a 5 min walk to the beach is something you can’t complain. At the stay within a quick glance everything looked good until it came down the “cleanness”. Carpet and the floor were not clean. Almost throughout the baseboard and corners were also not clean. Something new to us was the water system throughout the home definitely stood out to us and would have wished to known before could have changed the decision before booking. Communication was great. Family friendly - probably recommend more family board game all they had were checkers. The outdoor shower pipes seemed to be broken as you turn it on. Overall good place just the water system used in the house, you’ll be showering/washing your hands and brushing your teeth with salt water as that is what it felt like.”

“The location great. A funky odor as soon as we came in the front door. Everything seemed clean at first glance. Some glasses, utensils & a mug were dirty in the cupboards. There was debris & a few dead bugs in the drawers. The air freshener plug in the wall, next to the front door was empty. The entryway carpet was smelly & had curling up edges. A tripping hazard. The lights that illuminate the step up on the porch were out on both sides. The door to the closet in the room to the right, as you enter, would not stay closed. A bean bag chair in the closet had a hole and was leaking. In the dresser drawer, there was a pillow case of clean laundry? and some mismatched cards? The baseboards along the shower in the both bathrooms were in very poor condition. The rusted drain cover in the master shower wasn't screwed in. The washing machine had sand on it. The telescope was was inoperable. The ceiling fan light was out in the main living area. The master, right closet door doesn't shut all the way or go back on its track. The screen on the window to the left of the front door was ripped at the bottom and flapped in the wind, making noise. On a positive note, a few of our children and grandchildren came over for a few hours and really enjoyed themselves. No one ended up spending the night w/us, since most of them had to work Monday. The only room that was used was the master bedroom. We enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the beach. The sunset & sunrise were beautiful.”

“The interior of the place itself was very nice, simple, and clean! Loved the stay inside the house itself! The only thing I disliked was the views (3 rundown houses and one under construction) and the "swamp" around the exterior of the house. It looks like it has a little beach pond by it in the pictures, but its literally surrounded by still water with a stinch smell and crazy mosquitoes. And the exterior maintenance wasn't the best, even though there isn't much (eg the tall grass/weeds around the outside shower and carport and I picked up a few long screws by where we parked so we wouldn't get a flat, also some cigarette butts that were littered prior to us in which we do not smoke). Overall we did still enjoy the stay at this place and had a great time at the beach that was not too far to walk to! Minor stuff didn't ruin our getaway!! 😄”

“If the oven/range worked and if the dryer worked it would be 5 Stars Not only did the oven/range not work, they knew it didn’t work and had electric burners in the drawers. On day 4 of our 5 they brought a toaster oven. Being at the beach and not having a dryer means you can’t have clean towels and swimsuits. I don’t ever leave bad reviews but the management co never even sent someone to look at the dryer in 5 days. Never called.”
