“Jessica was an attentive host and her place was great for a fam beach day. It was more than enough space for 3 adults, 2 kids, and 12 dogs! Jk there were only 3 dogs. The house is walking distance from the beach, has it’s own private studio perfect for a loved up couple or the antisocial adult lol, and the pool was perfect for a night cap. We couldn’t find the patio lights to bbq but the pool light illuminated the backyard and we were still able to grill. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to a future visit.”

“Our stay in Galveston had some great moments—the location was convenient, and the space itself had potential. We also appreciated the 200 credit offered by the host after we shared a few concerns.However, there were a couple of things that did affect the experience. The most noticeable was a large, uncovered hole in the ceiling, which was surprising and made the space feel unfinished. The rug in the main area also seemed quite worn and in need of a deep clean or replacement.We understand that things happen, and we appreciated the host’s effort to make it right with a credit. That said, we do hope the property receives a bit more attention moving forward so future guests can fully enjoy the stay it has the potential to offer.”

“The house was clean and well maintained. The beds were on the firm side. I wish extra bedding (blankets) were made available as not everyone sleeps well at the same temperature. I would have liked more shampoo/conditioner provided as the house sleeps 10plus and there were only 3 sample sized bottles provided. The second house was super cute, but had a mild sewage smell when showers were used in the front house. The pool and outdoor areas were great for BBQ and kids playing. Enjoyed our stay. Thanks.”

“Place was clean and very spacious we loved it the heating and A/C system is very strong we turned the heat and the huge place was warm in a matter of 5 mins I loved that! The beds were comfy and we didn’t have kids with us but they have tons of kids accommodation accessories such as a crib bunk beds in room 2 and a high chair for a baby!”

“Our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The rental company was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions right away! It had plenty of room for everyone and was stocked as described. The property is located just a short a short drive to see all of the island! The property has a great welcome packet that tells you what to pack, along with property info, and we found that helpful! The property was as described. Clean, a few bugs visited on our stay, but they warn you of that ahead of time when visiting Texas. The property layout was a bit odd, as there was no shared bathroom, and bathrooms are only accessible by going into someone else’s bedroom. We are all family so it was fine, but I imagine it could be awkward if traveling with a large group. We had a great time exploring all of the city, and we’re thankful we could come back to relax at this property. The hosts were great! ”

“My family took a cruise out of Galveston. 6 adults from different parts of the country met up here the night before. It was our first time meeting my niece's boyfriend so we were happy to have the guesthouse to let tgem have some privacy and allow her bf to have some downtime away from the family if he needed it. The place was well-equipped with comfortable furniture and bedding. There was more than enough room for all of us and plenty of parking for our 2 cars. We enjoyed our stay and stayed there again after our cruise.”

“2 night stay after cruise. We'd planned to spend one night after our cruise, but extended for a second night. The place is very clean, comfortable and roomy. Our family had a wonderful time together and enjoyed the extra night playing games and having fun. The owner was very understanding when I notified them that I had a little mishap with a kitchen towel and the stove. I offered to replace it or pay”

“st bedroom: 1: ants in bathroom 2:only 1/2 of toilet paper holder 3: broken towel rack 4:vent fan broken 5: shower light out 6: smoke detector missing 2nd bedroom: 1: no toilet paper holder Kitchen: 1: very, very rickety bar stools 2: nothing to light grill Living room: 1: first Floor lamp bulb doesn’t fit fixture 2: second floor lamp has bulb burned out Kitchen: 1: knob missing from pantry door 2: whatever was hanging over stove is gone….but brackets are there, ugly but don’t care GOING FROM KITCHEN TO BACK 2 BEDROOMS: 1: since there is no light there that step plate is a trip hazard. Paint it with glow in the dark paint or something please. Second bathroom: 1: missing toilet paper holder Third bedroom: 1: light has a short and flickers off and on NO OUTSIDE LIGHTS IN BACK IN BACKYARD. There appears to be motion detector lights above pool but it doesn’t work. Guest house: 1: solar party light solar panel is just hanging and needs to be repaired. 2: toilet needs new flapper, runs about every 7 minutes. 3: needs a toilet paper holder 4: shower needs a high pressure head. 5: WiFi was bad, needs an extender. 6: refrigerator door seal needs replies, it’s hanging loose. Overall we enjoyed the house, these are just some maintenance issues that need addressed. The decor is really cute. Both houses were cleaned well. Parking was great. Supplies and utensils were plentiful. ”
