“We enjoyed our stay! The house was large enough to accommodate our family of 14. It was very comfortable for everyone. I only wish that the early check-in charge wasn’t so expensive. Only a few issues with the house, such as a plumbing issue, a few little buggies (it was raining), and uneven floors. Overall the house was very nice and we would definitely stay again.”

“We had a big family group in need of a large place close to the cruise port - this was the PERFECT place. Beautiful home with huge rooms and plenty of space for our family of 16 to relax and unwind before the cruise wedding we were taking the following day. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool but it was lovely as well. Host was so patient with me during the lock box / key confusion. It was totally operator error but my daughter was able to help. If we ever have a need for another large gathering staycation - this will be the first place I check. Thank you for a fabulous place to sleep for the night!!”

“We recently stayed at this property for our children’s wedding and found it to be a very nice place overall. The space was very generous, comfortably accommodating our group, and the beds were especially comfortable, which made for a restful stay. It was perfect for the number of people we had. However, there were a couple of downsides. The flooring is in need of replacement, as we noticed several areas that were soft, cracked, or even missing. Additionally, there was no place to hang clothing, which was a bit inconvenient—perhaps adding at least some hooks would be helpful. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the spaciousness and comfort of the home. With a few updates, it would be an even better experience!”

“We stayed at this StayBeachBox location for one night. The beds were comfortable & the house was large enough to accommodate a big group. We were a large group going on a cruise out of the Galveston port, so the location of the house was super close to get us to the port the next morning. The house is also a very short drive to downtown. Our group’s one issue with the house was the flooring. All of the floors were very soft. As if the laminate boards were just laid over rotten sub-floor. We appreciate the house is old and certainly has charm. But the floor was an issue because you could easily role your ankle if you weren’t walking round super careful anticipating those soft pockets. I noticed a number of other reviewers mentions this issue too. So it’s odd to me this hasn’t been addressed yet.”

The hosts were communicative and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. However, the house was missing a few small amenities, like a hair dryer and dishwasher pods/detergent, which would have been helpful. Despite these minor issues, we had a pleasant experience and would recommend it for anyone hosting a bigger group.”
