“Absolutely lovely stay! Clean and close to downtown and short drive to the seawall. Host was very kind and responsive. My nephews had a great time! Very comfortable beds and spacious space. The arcade games were a plus. Please read description because there are a lot of stairs to get to the flat and you must step up to get to the bathtub. Overall, I highly recommend this place and host.”

“We had such a lovely time at the loft, the location of which was perfect for strand walking and shopping. Positive: Pretty much everything! The location was perfect. The space was gorgeous and cozy. Negative: The bathroom, while aesthetically pleasing, was a little impractical. Specifically the tub, as it felt very claustrophobic with the shower curtains. The water pressure was also terrible.”

“This place is super cute and has a lot of character. We appreciated that it was close to the strand and restaurants. The place itself is off the beaten path but still close enough to town. Also, some small improvements could go a long way here. The coffee maker wasn’t working properly and the couch sunk in except in one spot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was reasonably priced.”

“My husband and I with our four teenage boys stayed here. They loved it and we loved it. There’s not much sound absorption so it was a little loud but that was fine. Some of the dishes had been put away dirty so we had to re-wash a few but it was no problem. They had everything we needed from kitchen stuff to bath stuff to cleaning stuff. We loved the area. Normally we stay closer to the seawall but this was PERFECT. Restaurants, coffee shops, other shops. We loved exploring a quieter part of Galveston. I was concerned about parking but it was not a problem at all. The mattress on the king bed was amazing. I am now looking to find one for my house. The price was great. The communication was great. Will stay again.”

“Amazing family friendly, industrial, spacious loft in the middle of downtown! Positive: The location was incredible. We were walking distance to so many stores downtown. Cute shops of all kinds. When my kids got hungry there were so many taco trucks and fast food places all around us. Initially I hadn't realized how close the we were to the Pier! My teenagers loved the arcade game machines. and my son made the living room his bedroom. The couches are so cozy, they serve as an extra bed or even 2. I loved the claw foot bath tub, I don't have one back home so I came equipped with my bubble bath and a bottle of wine. And we made good use of the iron and ironing board. A bonus was the washer and dryer in the suite but we didn't use it. We were so amazed at the beauty of the place. Negative: I liked everything. The loft was so spacious and it was an old original building so the industrial vibes with the exposed brick walls were genuine. But I did wish the coffee bar had been fully stocked. I had to go out to find a store to purchase coffee creamer, sugar and coffee filters. But I got a whole pack of filters and that should last the property a pretty long time. Just take a few creamers and sugars from the last gas station stop and you should be fine. The front windows were so beautiful I had my first cup of coffee seeing the traffic pass by in the front. And my second cup of coffee I enjoyed on the balcony. It was private enough for a short prayer and meditation. We just loved our stay. FYI for this particular apartment you do have to climb stairs and I saw no elevator. Also we had never had to collect keys for any of the places we have stayed at before. So after setting in the code you have to lift the latch and the keys are inside the box. We had to look up a quick you tube video for how to get in.”

“Cool apartment in a classic Galveston historic building. My wife beat me at Centipede on the old school stand-up arcade console. No problem with street parking. Short walk to The Strand or coffee shop/restaurants on Post Office. Cool scene at Daiquiri Time Out (and a secret bar?) a couple blocks away. ”

“The location of this property is no less than amazing. We some up that morning and the ship was 2 1/2 blocks away. The property was nice and bright. The only downside i had was i informed them that i was traveling with a elderly man (my dad) and they put us in a unit with about 2 flights of stairs straight up. Once he got in we didn't want to bring him back down to tour the town”
