“The loft’s proximity to the historic Galveston Strand could not be stated enough. You can walk to all the fun or if it’s hot and just don’t feel like moving those two legs, a 5-10 min drive. The area around the VRBO is a little sketchy, especially at night but don’t let it scare you. It’s not that bad, it’s just Galveston. The loft is great for two-three people but anymore than that and, well it’ll get cramped. Also note, the bed is very creaky and the WiFi will cut out from time to time. But in all honesty, the location of this property is its main selling point. You are in the heart of Galveston and you shouldn’t be on your phone anyways. But yes, enjoyed our stay, overall, a fine property with solid A/C, a fair rental price, and kitchen. ”

“Great stay. There were a few things that could have been better: the bed was hard and additional covers would have been nice, and the shower door was broken and wouldn’t stay closed. Overall the place was very nice and a short walk to great food and also a short walk to the cruise port. We would definitely stay again.”

We were right on the strand, exactly where I wanted to be for food and live entertainment. Best part was the distance from pier 25! I usually stay at the Harbor House because of the walk-ability. This loft was basically the same distance! Just be aware of the long staircase, if you have mobility issues.”
