“Loved our stay in the modern, stunning, and cozy home. We were traveling with a large family group from France and everyone was blown away! We all had our own space, perfectly comfortable bed, and for my first time in an Airbnb, a very well stocked kitchen for cooking! We spent mornings and evenings relaxing over meals, in the pool, and fishing and days in downtown Galveston. It truly was one of my top stays and look I forward to coming back again soon! Host was very friendly, attentive, and kind. 10/10 stay!”

“We had a wonderful stay for an extended weekend after a cruise out of Galveston. House was so nice, we were able to have a great family reunion. Kids had a great time fishing off dock and swimming in the wonderful pool. Beach is very close by, so cool to be able to drive right onto beach, the ice cream man even came by while we enjoyed the ocean and sun. This home was one of our best stays ever.”

“This Moby Dick’s Beach House was a wonderful place for a family get-together. It was clean, as described and we had everything we needed for a long weekend family beach trip. The pool was a wonderful place to cool off after hours at the beach in August. We did have a few issues during our stay that should be noted. The upstairs TVs would not work, we tried troubleshooting but no luck! Donna offered to send out maintenance but as we only had one night left we declined (there was a delay in her response but I also did not call just texted). Would have been a great place for kids to retreat to. In addition, the grills were awful, really not usable. For the price of the home, a nice gas grill or at least a good clean charcoal grill should be available. A couple other little things that were noted and shared but not critical.”

“Very nice house, pool was great and inside of house was pretty clean as well (one bathroom was a bit dirty and one was missing shampoo but other than that all good). Kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed for preparing meals. Sunset view was beautiful from the top deck!”

“The house was beautiful and was very clean. It had a well equipped kitchen. We have a large family and there was plenty of room for all of us and the pool was really nice. We had a really good time even if the tropical depression messed up the fishing. We enjoyed being able to dock the boat at the house . All it all the house met all our needs and expectations. We will definitely consider it next year when we start making out yearly trip plans.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was a very spacious beautiful house with nice beds and furniture. The decor was perfect. The pool was so nice and it had a great outdoor space. The fishing isn’t good off the private doc so we booked a guided trip and the pool and nearby beach made up for it. We enjoyed the kayaks too. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back soon!”

“This home was truly everything my family and I needed for a meaningful and relaxing weekend together. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and connection. The space was one of our favorite parts! There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out, unwind, and enjoy their own quiet moments, while still having plenty of areas to gather and make memories as a family. Some of us spent time fishing, others enjoyed the pool, and others were relaxing in the living room and kitchen. What we appreciated most was how seamlessly all of those moments could happen at the same time without anyone feeling crowded. The home made it easy to truly relax and just enjoy being together. It’s a beautiful property that created such special memories for us, and we are so grateful for our stay. We would absolutely love to return and will definitely keep this home in mind for future trips.”

“Beautiful Home, It Is 6 Bedrooms. 2 Of the rooms does have bunk beds. I love the fact that it had 5 full bathrooms. Donna replied back to my one question immediately. Overall I Would Definitely book again.”

“This house was wonderful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and also very close to the beach. The pool was wonderful for our kids. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and also the big open kitchen that we could all gather and cook together. We also had enough beds for all of our guests to sleep and they were comfortable. Also, the two refrigerators was a plus.”

“This is is AMAZING! It’s very spacious and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the house was a great. Took us 3 mins to the beach. The pool was a little chilly but really nice after being in the sun and beach all day, was really nice to come back too. We also utilized the canoes it was a bonus to have there, super fun and was able to allThe houses in the area. The layout of the house was perfect for our family getaway. We can’t wait to stay again. LOVE LOVE LOVE this house. ”

“Our family does a family beach week every year around July 4th. This is definitely one of the best we experienced. The photos didn’t do it justice. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. Definitely looking at this place for next year.”

“Moby Dicks is a comfortable, modern, and clean beach home. The pool was the main attraction as it is in the shade with seating in both shade and sun so appealing for all. My suggestions to make the home even better would be to replace the outdoor charcoal grill with an easier to use outdoor gas grill. Also, I suggest that the garage be organized with more bins/shelves that are labeled for the pool toys, life jackets, etc.”
