“This house was exactly as described and it was perfect for our family vacation! We traveled with four kids (6, 4, 2, and 1). We loved the location. Jamaica Beach is just far enough outside of Galveston to avoid the crowds but close enough to hit up tourist attractions if you want! And the house was a very short walk to the beach. We could see the house doors from where we camped out on the beach each day. Made it very easy to go back and forth for lunch, reprieve from the sun, kid naps, etc. Property Manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. House had all of the necessities and there really wasn’t anything it was missing (would suggest bringing your own shampoo/soap as the ones provided are pretty small.) The only thing it was missing was beach towels, toys, chairs/wagon. We had to rent everything beach related which was an additional thing to coordinate but it worked out fine. Very pleased with this house and our experience. Would highly recommend!”

“Had a great stay at this house. Very clean, kid friendly, and great to bring your pet. Plenty of room for a family and short tiny walk to the beach. Everything was clean and kitchen was stocked. Would definitely stay again. Advertised very accurately and friendly responsive host.”

“Great, clean place just a stones throw from the beach. A good, quiet place well suited for families. The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that the cleaning crew was there waiting on us to leave 20 minutes before checkout. After contacting the host, the abruptly left. I do appreciate that. We would definitely book this place again. We do highly recommend it.”

“We had a great stay! The home was exactly as the pictures showed. Everything was clean and the finishes were new. The appliances all worked fine, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. There was a toaster, blender, and coffee maker. The location relative to the beach is great. It is an easy walk, maybe 5 minutes. You can see the surf while sitting on the front porch or on the couch. We did not try the beach rental company, so I can’t comment on that amenity. It says the place sleeps 11 and that is true. The living room and dining area aren’t really that large, though. I’d say it more of an 8 person home that you can crowd 11 people into in a pinch. I’d say it’s ideal for two couples with kids. The bunk room could easily sleep 6 kids. The bottom bunks are wider than twin mattresses. I would recommend this to anyone looking for easy beach access.”

“Fantastic location! Just a short walk to the beach, very doable if you have littles! Plenty of beach space for sand play & walking. We LOVED the decor & the bedding. Everything was so nice & clean. The outdoor furniture was a great touch. The “lifeguard” like chairs were so fun & great to relax in during sunny weather. The kids LOVED the hammocks & stayed under the porch playing when we weren’t out & about. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything needed to cook-including a waffle maker & baking wear! Plenty of pillows on the beds & couch. Each bed was laid out with a stack of towels, hand towels, & wash cloths. We did have a little leak from the roof on the last day, it was crazy windy, & the shingles pulled up but the host was super quick to respond. On that note, the host was very helpful & quick to respond to all my messages. Overall, it was a great stay & I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a beach stay.”

Would have been nice if the home had additional cooking supplies like oil and salt and pepper but other than that it was great!”
