“Over all loved this little bungalow - could use some paint touch ups and base board cleaning. Lighting inadequate for stairs and dog run and under garage So dark couldn’t see dogs at night in pen or where to clean up poop .. but this place is a little gem very comfortable and easy and in a good neighborhood ! Loved it !”

“This home was in a great location. We were able to see the water and some boats from the porch, which was really nice. Everything was very clean and clearly laid out for us. My only drawback was that there were a lot of very specific rules, along with large fees if they weren’t followed properly. It made it a little difficult to fully relax during our stay. We found ourselves constantly focused on keeping the doors closed and making sure the AC stayed at the correct temperature. We also weren’t allowed to have any guests over, so if you’re looking to host a gathering or have a small party, this probably isn’t the place for that. I would also like to mention that, while we paid a cleaning fee through Airbnb, we were still expected to complete several cleaning tasks before checkout. That didn’t feel very vacation-like to us and took away from the overall experience. That being said, I would still recommend this place, to someone who simply needs a quiet place to sleep”

“Great vacation spot for a family getaway! Positive: The location was great. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. Negative: The mattress in the bedroom right off the living is very worn and has a clear indentation in the middle. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in.”

“Perfect distance from the beach. The house was clean and the deck was very nice to sit out on and just enjoy the peacefulness of the day. My family had a wonderful time. The key lockbox was a bit finicky but communication from the host was great. Definitely would stay here again.”

“This was such a great stay, especially for my first time visiting Galveston. The check in process was super easy and seamless, which made everything start off stress free. The location is perfect, close to everything you need while still feeling relaxing and comfortable. I honestly would have extended my stay for another night, but it was already booked, which says a lot. That alone tells you how in demand and enjoyable this place is. The place itself was very clean, well kept, and the air conditioning works extremely well. It gets nice and cold in there, which was perfect after being out in the heat. Overall, I had a really great experience and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a smooth and comfortable stay in Galveston.”

“Quiet place away from the heavy tourists traffic to relax. Spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the breeze and watching the small boats dock. There is a park at the end of the street. The gated fence was perfect for our small dogs and we could let them out from upstairs. The second restroom is downstairs outside which is perfect if you spend time around the fire or bbq pit. This was my second time staying and would book again.”

“This was a lovely little beach bungalow near the sailboats and the boat launch in a good neighborhood. The host was very helpful and responsive. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. It was disappointing to see multiple holes and tears in the floor LVP, as well as screws sticking out from the intended repairs. That was rough for bare feet. When we arrived, it was unseasonably cold…26 degrees. All the beds had only a sheet and quilt. There were no extra blankets or heavier blankets. The heater worked very hard to keep the house warm. It did not help that there were gaping areas where the window unit ACs had been installed letting in cold blowing air all night long. Both couches were saggy, had minor stains, and had holes with stuffing coming out. There were no light switches underneath the house so it was challenging retrieving items from the car after dark. Overall, it was a decent stay but I'm glad we got it on a sale price!”

“During our stay it rained the whole week. I was excited for just staying in cozy up spending quality time with family and playing board games host was very responses. There were a few amenities listed that were not accurate for example, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They had small hotel size shampoos not ideal for a long stay Host was very responsive and brought board games. There was a huge wood plank on the floor covered with a rug, which was a huge disturbance for my father who’s in a wheelchair. I think it has been fixed by now. Microwave was super rusty, which is a little dangerous and a little unstable the way it’s positioned sounded like it was going to fall every time you close the door. Other than that, the location was nice peaceful and there’s a neighborhood pool and park right down the street.”

If coming in the summer time, note there is no kitchen table or place to sit/eat inside. The second bathroom in the storage area is, as they say, in the garage downstairs. It was convenient while we hung out down there, but is not climate controlled and small for showering.”

Host is very friendly with clear instructions. Close to playground for my 8 years old daughter and teenage son for basketball court. Swimming pools close by. Right by boat launcher. Lovely patio with water and boats view. Very peaceful neighborhood. We love it.”
